Professor Bentley is super old school. Pop quizzes and tough tests are in your future. He is a little boring with the lectures since he just reads the PowerPoint. Class projects are very hard beware and take 10 hours or so. Final is open book and notes the only plus side to this class. Do not take unless you have to

I got an easy A in this class. 2 midterms but he drops the lowest of the 2. Boring at times, just slides after slides, good thing about that is I didn't even buy the book. Two cases (7-10 pages mostly graphs and calucations). Easy homework. Just show up to class. Open book/notes final.

This professor is so terrible. He takes role every class. He gives random quizzes. Two versions of midterm so no one can cheat. Two difficult case study essays, 10 pgs each with diagrams & charts. He provides little help and direction. He constantly & randomly calls on students for answers during his lectures. Exams r multiple choice & short answer

He is a nice/easy teacher. 2 Midterms (Easy b/c 1 pg. front/back cheat sheet). 2 Long Cases (Time consuming). Although he is a bit boring at times, he tries to make the class interesting. If you do not know the answer to his questions (he randomly picks people to answer), just say you do not know (you might feel stupid for saying the wrong answer

Listen to ME only! He posts grades online so you can follow along. 1pg cheatsheet for tests-open notes for final. His exams are actually hard and require a lot of studying. BUT... he is an extremely easy grader on HW and 2 LONG casestudies. Im an average student and earning a B, but his grading method gives me an A-. (>84.9 = A). He's BORING THO!!!

this teacher is such an a!@@#hole. he is down grading me for something that is not my fault. it is the professor fault but yet i am taking the punishment for something that is not my fault. do not take this teacher. he reads directly off the slides. boring as hell. must thinks that his students can't read for themselves

I had this class Spring10 and I wish I would have waited to the following semester. Based on 2 Midterms 30%, final 25%, 2 case study 30%, HW 15%. the midterms were easy, as well as the HW.Case study were confusing,and the professor was not helpful. Something worth 1/3 of your grade I would expect the prof. to be more informative.

Got an A- in his class. Wish he'd talk more about how to do the equations he assigns for homework problems and cases rather than the names of people who came up with techniques. His class is really boring.

Strange grading system. A- is 85%, but he grades down to the decimal so if you get 84.9 you don't get the A-. Class is really easy, just make a cheat sheet before each test and you will do fine. Easy hw assignments, easy ok tests, didn't buy a book, scored a B+

Professor Bentley is an excellent professor. He knows his materials and it shows. Slides can get overwhelming sometimes, but don't let it bother you as much. Try not to miss classes coz the exams are from the lectures. Cumulative makes it hard but do able. Its one of those classes u wanna avoid but you won't hate if you end up in it.

Bentley lectures on the subject of quality, with quality. Relevant content and good choice of text. PPT lectures can lead to boredom-induced suicide desires, but Bentley facilitates some discussion. 3 exams encompass much content and include 2-3 calculation problems, but lowest exam is dropped. Obligatory Spartan updates first 5 min. of class. <B6>

Not an easy class but if you apply yourself, attend class and participate in lectures, as well as study hard, you will learn a lot. Three exams (lowest one is dropped), one notes sheet allowed, two written cases. Final is open book but comprehensive. He is a good, albeit dry at times, lecturer who cares about students.

Great professor. When I didn't understand something he is extremely helpful during his office hours. Tests are multiple choice with some math problems involeved. There are 2 case studies, but he grades very very easy on them. Overall, class is pretty easy!

Professor Bentley is mostly a good professor. Except for the long list of names to be memorized he is helpful when stuck and highly organized. He values feedback and tries to develop the class based on them.

He is a really nice guy and very responsive to students suggestions. He is very interested in trying to make the class fun and important, but just doesn't relate to many of the students. I think he really does a great job trying but just did not have my attention with this class. The tests are very hard!

I never pay attention in class. Just surf the web, and read his powerpoints before the test. Cases are long and annoying but grades easy. 3 midterms + 1 final. Drops the lowest midterm only. Has a bunch of tedious participation activities. Don't need the book except for case study.

this guy is a toss up (pause).. kind of condescending but his tests are decent.. i mean i got a freakin b+ and i studied last minute. just pay attention. CASE STUDIES are graded easily, i was surprised.. he's not that bad, trust me, why would i lie. he has a huge stomach. sit in the back so he doesnt call on u during class
