He wastes too much time by talking very slowly,and is inconsiderate of peoples time by constantly going over class time. He is very negative and discouraging towards project ideas, he has a very narrow point of view of what makes good art which makes him a biased marker. He is never satisfied no matter how much effort people put into their work.

I did not know David Floren was a professor. I thought he was the shop technician, maybe I got the wronge David Floren. Anyways the one im thinking of is really nice, and also helpful. I have never taken a class with him, but im surprised to hear he's a hard marker. He didnt seem like he would be.

While I believe Mr. Floren intends well, he maintains an exceedingly narrow opinion about art--it's functions, philosophies of, etc. As a policy, he does not give out 'A's, especially to students who work the hardest.

Prof. Floren is a nice guy, but he definately needs to take some classes on how to teach! He couldn't answer a question clearly if his life depended on it.
