Awesome man! I learned so much, but is a lot of reading and thinking. I got a "B" with a lot of effort put into this class. I will recommend him, but don't take as a fast pace class. His quizzes are very easy to pass.

A very nice man, but do not take this as an accelerated class if you have even one other class. There is a lot of reading and 2 quizzes every 4 days.

This class was so hard. There is a quiz due every week and each quiz has two parts, Vocab and concept. the vocab quizzes were easy, but the concept quizzes were hard no matter how much i studied for them. i would not recommend this class unless you love biology and really want to work hard. If you take his online classes you dont need the book.

VERY NICE man. He puts a TON of effort into his teaching style, more than anyone I've seen yet, but... I found his method diabolical. There is a TON of HW, and he has a bad habit of rambling and "beating around the bush" when defining things in his readings. It's like 2-3 classes in one. I couldn't retain much because there was too much going on...

I took his online class and it wasn't that hard, he is a very helpful teacher and doesn't require a textbook; he types his own readings for each section. I have all the printed readings and complete vocabulary lists for sale. If interested e-mail me at Matt81586@aol.com

I was excited to take this class, especially since no textbook needed to be purchased. However, the class was more philsophically based on the professor's word and it was difficult to follow. I especially didn't appreciate being tested on material that he never covered and when I asked for help, he just sent me more problem questions.

Overall this online class wasn't horrible. The discussions are the worst part. His tests are easy if you make sure to read. There is no physical textbook all the reading is online, I printed it out and found that more helpful. Not an easy A but it can be done. The final is exactly the same questions from the weekly tests.

You have to be dedicated! It's hard work, a lot of reading! 2 quiz every week and very difficult discussions. His grading is very harsh with discussions. Overall he is a good teacher but u will have to WORK for the grade. had 4 other classes that I neglected to get my "B". Extra credit throughout the semester helped. Extremely time consuming.

This class is time consuming. I took the hybrid class and felt like I was taking 2 separate classes. I passed with an A but it was through dedication and hard work. I took 3 other classes with his and got 2 A's and 1 B. So you don't have to limit the amount of classes you take. Just study and be dedicated. Prof. Williams is AWESOME, I recommend.

LOTS OF READING! Like previous comment, I would only take one other class with his. I took 3 and got a B. No text book. He is a interesting man, very smart! His discussions are rediculous. Hard! Vocab + concept quizes are not hard if you read his readings thuroughly! Overall it was an okay class. Oh, I took the class online and lab in class.

I took his online lecture and had to go to lab. The lecture section of this course is pretty easy. Print out the readings for your vocabulary and concept quizzes. Lab quizzes come from the pre-lab information. He gives a ton of extra credit!! I would take him again.

There is A TON of online reading, the readings are not clear,& are TOO long. On average 30 pgs each usually 2 sets of per quiz which you have 3 of every 6 days. This course requires so much time Dr W must think you are only taking his class, have no life, job or family, & that can devote all your time to this class. I got a c-,didnt slack at all!

One of the best things about this class is that there is no textbook! He writes his own lectures and refers to online sources for additional info. The lectures are rather long; make sure to look at the vocab list first so that you can define them as you read. Vocab quizzes can be taken twice to get a better score. This professor knows a lot!

First class I took when I started at VCC. EASY! I got an A (almost a 100%). His readings are great and easy to understand. He is a great guy, and very easy to talk to. He also helped me a lot with chemistry, which he was not responsible for. If you can't pass Professor William's class (any of them) then you have no business being in college.

Online class. No textbook!! His lectures are long, but great & understandable. If not, he likes questions & responds very quickly. He really wants you to learn & is very in to what he is teaching. He's also very flexible, doing all he can to help you pass. If you like to learn & you're not a slacker, take his classes.

Online class. No textbook but ALOT of reading. There are two wkly quizzes that aren't so hard if you read the material. He grades discussion posts horribly. I suggest you don't even try to write anything, because he can't be pleased. Does offer alot of extra credit though, which totally saved me. There is no midterm, just a final.
