If you're looking for an easy class where you honestly don't work hard but need an A--this is it. If you, like me, are an art major who actually wants to learn then keep looking. Sure, an A looks nice on your transcript but you're paying for an A, not an overpriced arts and crafts course.

A Fantastic professor who is an expert in her field. She has certainly reshaped my view art & inspired me in so many ways. Everything is clear & she has a deep passion for art. We've been in touch after college and she still makes herself available when I need help (with grad school). She is one of the most influential people in my studies & career

Mrs Paulsen is an amazing teacher, she has a very charming personality, she laughs a lot! That is nice!! Her classes are very fun, the projects are in a way challenging.. because you can do something really hard or something simple but w/ style!She is never hard on students, and will give you a lot of feedback to help you improve. Take her classes!

Deborah is awesome. I highly recommend her. She is very encouraging to students for their creativity in art projects and does not grade or critique harshly. She gave me a lot of great suggestions to improve my projects. She definitely knows her stuff and encourages class participation. Art 501 was my first art class and I really enjoyed it.

Deborah is absolutely FANTASTIC! She encourages her students and helps develop your individual ability & style. She is concerned with your personal growth, not how your work stacks up against your classmates. A great experience! She is very understanding. I highly recommend taking Deborah for any art classes - she's the BEST!(No textbood required)

Took her '2D Design' and 'Drawing' classes. Very good class and easy, as long as you practice and follow the assignment instructions and listen to her suggestions. Definitely would recommend!

Deborah seems quite and shy, but she's got some fire under that false front.Shes an excellent artist.Sometimes a bit confusing per directions, but quick to clarify.Loves when you go to the next level.Let your imagination take off and she will encourage it.
