Comment:

This class was online. She had online lectures to attend that almost always went two hours long and the times and day varied. She takes off for her grammer yet her emails are riddled with mistakes. She is unclear and there is a ton of work due multiple times a week.

Comment:

The work load for this class is ridiculous. She gives work as if students dont have other courses and teaches as if everyone is an expert in Bio. Her online room is always at least 2hrs. Shes sarcastic. You dont even get to understand the info youre really just memorizing for the test. She also uses connect. Everything is in APA format.

DO NOT TAKE HER!! Taking her for a hybrid feels like 2 separate courses. Her grading criteria doesnt make sense, she deducts so many points on assignments, everything is in APA even discussion posts. Shes very sarcastic & makes the course harder than it needs to be. Getting a good grade is almost impossible & you meet online once a week sadly.

DO NOT TAKE HER. It's impossible to get a perfect grade on any portion of her class. This is a hybrid class and we have work due from lab, PLUS 5 to 6 other things due for her online portion of the class every week. She deducts for grammar, but has many grammar issues in all of her emails and on video quiz templates. So sarcastic. All around awful.

SOOOO BAD! She doesnt know how to grade properly. Will mark your assignments late before theyre even due. Will mark you down in grammar when her emails all have typos. Expects you to meet with her on any given day. Wayyyy too much homework. Gives homework due on thanksgiving day

So its an online class but she has this doodle thing that she expects us to do weekly and get together. But if we could get together at the same time wouldnt we be in a classroom at a scheduled time. not very helpful. doodles arent helpful b/c its not on the quizzes. Avoid her at all cost. Just awful. positive reviews probably fake

If you are taking any other course besides this one don't take this class. She is extremely heavy on APA siting and is a pain about it. Her half of the class was online and it was mandatory to meet on the given day and participation was a must. Very sarcastic and made repeated comments that we should really think about dropping the class.

By far the WORST online professor Ive had. DO NOT take her class if you have a life. She expects a massive amount of work for one class and mandatory video lecture attendance. She is very sarcastic, floods your email and is heavy on APA format even for discussion posts! Please look for a different Professor.

You have to do as lot of work. She tends to use students for examples on certain things. Not fun. 175 multiple choice final. Hybrid course so you have to watch videos if not youll be lost in lecture. Teaches as if we students are experts on material

So college Algebra with no credit is supposed to be easy right? Wrong, not with this professor. Everyone in my class complained about her, if you have to take her for a class that sounds difficult DO NOT take her. She breezes through material and just expects you to know and she doesn't teach.

Had her for a hybrid course so we only met for 1hour weekly. Coming to the class was only important if you wanted to receive extra credit or a grade drop of a quiz. None of the work was cohesive so lecture was one thing, discussion one thing, quiz 1 another, quiz 2 another it was hard to let material marinate . If you just do the work you can pass

It was literally looking at her in fast forward during the lectures because she wouldn't even give you a chance to register the information she gave you. She would also teach a new lesson and then at the end of class she would give a quiz about the last class's lecture.

Considering the course is as low as it is she has unrealistic expectations, also she acts as if this is the only class you are taking when it comes to work. Quizzes are nothing like what you go over in class and she claims it as "application of knowledge" but it isn't. Overall it's an unnecessarily hard class that people should avoid if they can.

This class isn't ROCKET SCIENCE. As the name suggest, its human biology. As with any science course there is going to be an enormous amount of content. She does her best to cover ALL of it. So there are quizzes and homework assignments due very often, but none of it is difficult. You watch a few videos and answer some questions weekly. WorkPass

She rushes through lectures, which is especially bad for an 8am. There isn't much clarity, too much joking (if you can believe it). Though it's a hard course, she offers help thru study groups but it's useless because what she goes over isn't what is on the quiz.

By far the hardest class I have taken in college so far. For a low level course, she expects us to go above and beyond what is necessary. Doesn't respect the fact that we have 4 or 5 classes besides this. Quizzes (four quizzes 1 exam) are not straightforward, more application of the knowledge. If it weren't for other assignments, I would be fail.

I can't believe PD has such bad reviews. It's Human Biology - there is a lot of information to learn and she tries to cover it all. She is the first professor I've ever had that makes lecture interactive and fun. I think she goes above and beyond to help her students in any way she can. She even had online tutoring at 8pm on a week night! Best.

Professor runs 60 slides per class does not explain anything. She has all standard attributes of a bad teacher. She has tutoring but when she shows up you are as lost as in class. The other tutors available are better than her and even say she teaches this class at AP Level.

The class will be hard no matter what. She moves very quickly and it's overwhelming, but she DOES try to help. She always has study groups & curves heavily. I got the impression that she cares about her students, she just forgets that we're taking this just for the UCC. It was a hard class, but it could've been way worse with a different prof.

You are in college- you gotta learn on your own sometimes. Suck it up people. She gives you the material, tells you what to focus on for the exam, holds study sessions where you receive extra credit, curves the final grade-- i felt like i was failing but got an A. It's overwhelming at first but if you study and pay attention you'll be fine.
