Took him online. Awesome easy class! Finished it a month early. Rent the book and all quizzes are open book. Videos to judge and write opinions on. To make videos was easy. I used my iMac. If you dont miss any work and have at least an A after your last visual video. He will drop the last special narrative videos and you wont have to do them.

I am super happy I got him for this class, he was super laid back & nice, but would still take presentations seriously. He made the work very easy & is super flexible if u need more time for something. Overall was a very enjoyable class!

I loved professor Sweda. I took his class online and he was very fair grading the speeches. I averaged over 90% on 3 of my 4 speeches so because of that he automatically gave me 100% on the last speech which totally made my semester!

Very easy and highly recommend! Extra credit is available. There about 15 speech evaluations, 4 speeches (3 if your score is at the average needed) and 18 quizzes (open book and online).

Professor Sweda is awesome! I would take classes that I didn't even need just to have him as a professor again. Very fair grader, gives lots of opportunities for extra credit, and gives great feedback on speeches. So glad I had him for this class!

AMAZING public speaking class. Prof. Sweda provides good feedback and you have the option to record your speeches vs presenting live. You have about 15 speech evaluations, 4 speeches (3 if your score is at the average needed), 7 DQs, and 18 quizzes.

I am currently in his class right now. He is one of the best Instructors here. I was really happy i took this class this term. If you have a hard time giving a speech in class. Just take notes, and use a power point. This helps me if i forget any important stuff.

Prof Sweda is the best, he makes public speaking fun and his stories are hilarious. The goal is to make a speech so memorable that he talks about it to future classes. He doesn't care what you talk about, just make sure to slow down and look at the audience when you talk.

Loved this class! You definitely have to work and complete all of the assignments, but the coursework is easy and quick and you really do learn a lot (more than I thought I would). Professor Sweda is way to reach and communicate with and very understanding.

Best public speaking class ever! I feel like I learned a lot from his class by listening and grading other speeches and by completing quizzes online from the textbook. He cares a lot about his students and will help you with any questions you may have. I would definitely take him again and I even recommended him to other friends. He is the best!

This class was an Easy A! I took it online. He breaks the class into four sections, and you can work on them at your own pace. You have one section due about every 3-4 weeks. He had you submit a video of yourself performing the speech - literally you in front of your computer. He's the only one that actually sees it & is an easy grader!

Mr. Sweda is he best professor i have had yet. And the easiest yet most interesting class i have ever taken in my educational career. Sweda class for public speaking was fun. All semester you just sit in class and listen to speeches that are about the craziest things and alot of students bring food in so you dont have to go and get lunch.

I am so glad that I took this class with him. He lays everything out for you and makes it so easy. Units consist of evaluating speeches, a few quizzes, discussion boards, a speech outline and a speech. There are 4 units/speeches total. He gives 3-4 weeks per unit so you can work at your own pace. Everything in that unit must be done by the deadline

Took him for Summer Calendar B, which is the best choice for this course. All you need to do is: a set of online quizzes where you can use the book and the answers are directly in there, 3 speeches, and rate other students' speeches. Attendance isn't mandatory but is a part of your final grade.

Not a fan of speaking in front of an audience but his class was the best. It's an easy class to pass. You are graded on attendance and make sure to do the online quizzes.
