This class was great for two reasons: 1. All of the tests, quizzes, and assignments are available from the beginning of the course, so you can take all of them early and finish the class at any time. 2: The professor provides a lot of materials in order to make sure everyone succeeds. If you like working ahead, definitely take this course!

Loved this class. Other online classes never knew you had a teacher. She is always available. Sends out reminders, dropped me notes when I did well and when I screwed up a test asked if she could help. Who else does that. I learned a lot of stuff stopped smoking and I eat better

had to take this class and it was good. Teacher is available by email or phone. i guess you could go to her office, too. She sends out tons of reminders, and I got a note asking if I needed help because I only got a C on a certain test. You have to read the book, there were some papers and discussions.

just finished this class. I dreaded it but she made it fun and it was the only class I looked forward to going to. I'd say she is the best teacher i have every had. You have to do the work, but if you do, you should do well. Prof. Barrington - you ROCK!!

great online class. there are deadlines when stuff closes but everything is open at the start of class. My class was eight weeks and i finished it in 5. there are tests, quizzes, a video discussion, and some extra credit stuff. It was all clear and easy to manage. You gotta have the text book and she wrote it. I liked the book -

Could not get a better professor anywhere. She works hard, is always available by email, or whatever you want. Class is mixture of tests, (and you can use open notes!!) quizzes, online discussion and some other stuff.

I took this class as an online course, all based on quizzes and tests, we barely had two class discussions. I didn't like the fact that everything was timed.. quizzes (10 quest) 7 min and tests (100 quest) 90 min, since is health you're probably thinking is a very fair course but for me it wasn't. Even if you need 1 point to pass, she won't pass u

Best prof I have ever had. this was online, and she sends out reminders about tests and quizzes, and sent me notes of congrats when i did well and once, when i didn't she asked if she could help in any way. i encourage anyone to take this teacher. She is truly the best i have ever had.

I had to take this class and dreaded it but it was not bad. the teach was online every week day and she required us to log in twice each week in an 8 week cojurse. Does not seem like a lot to me. Her lectures are fun and entertaining. I can honestly say I learned more here than I have in any other class. She is a straight grader so no point in earning a B or C and asking her to up your grade. why would a college student even think that anyway??? She is very cool, very intelligent and our class had a great time with her

she is a good teacher. really funny and fair. now alot of students complain about her being tough and blah blah blah. This is college everyone is an adult that should not blame others for their actions. I passed with an A. because i was responsible and on top of stuff. Definitely choose this professor not only for your interest in Heath,since she actually wrote the college text, but for a smooth enjoyable semester. an A is easy if u do well on online quizzes and tests.! No assignments except to read, understand, and TAKE NOTES, u can use them on test. She shows tests before only if u have notes. She's awesome!

Comment:

I highly recommend the 8-week online course for Barrington. This class is pretty straight up: read the chapters, take notes, and take the quizzes and tests. Make sure you know the terms and important %'s (for example, the % of obese Americans). Readingnote taking + quizzes, expect about 1-2 hours of work per week. She's also a very very nice lady.
