Not a great professor - Passive aggressive to the whole class. We pay thousands of dollars to take her class to be told we have to shut down phones, not use the bathroom for an hour +, and that you have to spend more $ by having to pay for each and every movie assigned. Not to mention the workload is so extra and she does NOT respond to emails ever

I loved her film class. You watch movies and write about them in short essays. Some of the reading is really long, but it is pretty cool. There is quite a bit of homework but its easy. Exams are an easy 100 if you study for an hour the night before. Final paper/presentation is on your favorite movie. I learned a lot about films in her class.

Work is very tedious, but easy. Would be much better if she would actually assign movies that were easy to find / not expensive to buy / free. Try to avoid small classes with her though; one of my classes only had four other students and it was a nightmare if you missed class.

She is REALLY scatter brained. Really hard to follow in class. Take VERY good notes. If you have taken any past film classes she automatically dislikes you. Listen very carefully and apply EVERYTHING you learn to what she asks.

Incompetent teacher. Has tenure at the school and shouldn't. Very inarticulate, cannot comprehend her own subjects. Gave me a B+ on an otherwise A paper because she didn't understand some of the more complicated words I used. Boring, biased, favoritist and useless.

It took her the entire semester to remember which section we were and what she'd taught us already. The material isn't too hard, but her personality gets irritating. NEVER come back late from a break. She always talks about how students annoy her when they're right there in the room. Avoid her class if you can, but don't panic if you must take it.

Love her, she's sizzling...She's also a good teacher. Stayed after class with me several times and helped me understand difficult articles. Proof read some of my papers before I handed them in, only time I've ever had an A in English.
