DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. She is not helpful whatsoever and talks to her students like they know nothing. The course was a mess. No one should make a C in a psych course, especially if they worked hard, Not understanding at all.

Took the course online, very clear weekly assignments. You have one assignment, one test and one posting due each week. I'm taking Dr. Sherwin again next semester for another Junior level course.

I would NOT recommend this professor to anyone. She is extremely rude, she doesn't care if you pass/fail. Not to mention, if you get booted out of a test due to Wi-Fi problems, she will not reopen your tests resulting you with a "F". She doesn't answer any questions besides with : "Look in your syllabus". Get ready to READ a ton.

This teacher doesn't teach. She gives tests and grades discussions very harshly and is rude. She takes forever to grade your work. I would not take her class again.

Dr. Sherwin was not helpful at all, she was very frustrated if she had to email you back. When she did reply they were rude and she almost always replied with "Read the syllabus" even though the answer was not in there. I would choose another instructor for this class and do you have to volunteer somewhere for 15 hours or you automatically fail.

I don't think Dr. Sherwin puts a lot of personal effort or attention into this class. She took FOREVER to grade and respond to the weekly blog posts. If you want to take a class that has little teacher involvement then this is the class for you. Plus if you do well on the manual assignments then you will do well in the class. Blog post sucks!!!

I had a malfunction with Blackboard the first week and missed over 100 points worth of assignments. Dr. Sherwin was VERY unhelpful and refused to believe that Blackboard was responsible or do anything to help me fix my grade. Don't take her if you have any other options. Seriously. Don't do it.

If you can't pass Dr. Sherwin's classes then you're clearly not able to follow directions. Expectations are clearly stated within the syllabus, there's a chapter quiz each week, & test questions come directly from the chapter reading. Journals are more student's own opinion than reciting chapter info.

Dr Sherwin is an excellent professor. She is knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely take other classes she teaches. This was a fast paced online summer course. We covered 10 chapters in 5 weeks, but the content is incredibly interesting. Not a course for sissies. I give Dr. Sherwin an A+!

I found this class very interesting and had a tough time putting down the material and move on to my other classes. I also found the professor provided all the material needed to do well in this class. One recommendation is if you need someone to "hold your hand" in this class, you should take it on campus. Not ideal for online if you need 1:1.

She seems to have very little interest in the class, or the success of her students. Assignments that she has to manually grade took almost till the end of the semester. Several of my emails went unanswered. Lots of busy work.

Very unclear about everything, very unhelpful, and takes FOREVER to respond to emails. I really don't think that she cared about the class at all. The assignments were easy for the most part even if unnecessarily annoying due to lack of direction. Basically the class could funtion the same with no instructor.

If you are looking for an easy "A" this is NOT the professor for Psych 2300! I am only taking as part of my curriculum and I spend SO MUCH time working on 5 Assignments that are due EVERY Week. Concept Clips, Learn Smart (4-6 hrs. to complete), Discussion post, Discussion responses, + a Test EVERY week and they are HARD!!!

This is the worst prof I have ever had. The quizes (weekly) are VERY EASY if you read the text, however she is incredibly disorganized and takes 2 months to reply to emails. Her grading does not make sense- she provides no rubric and no rhyme or reason. Find a teacher who will invest in you if this is a subject you enjoy!

Sherwin is a very condescending person. She will treat you like a moron if you ask questions. Her tests are easy as long as you read the book though. She is BEYOND unorganized and missed a lot of class. I wouldn?t take her class again.
