I had Professor Smith as a substitute professor. She used her own powerpoints, which did not help us in the end when we did our quizzes and taught like we were graduated Biology majors who already learned everything there is to know.

Mrs. Smith is a great professor! Although, she can have her days, but who doesn't? The material is clear, and she's straight forward on the assignments, quizes, and test. The most helpful resources of the class is the iClicker and homework on MasteringBiology if you do really well on those and read and comprehend each chapter should pass with a B/A

TOOK ONLINE-I WOULD NOT CHOOSE THIS LADY TO TEACH ME ANYTHING! She is VERY UNORGANIZED, ALL of her assignments are confusing, & dont seem to correspond with one another.Just about the whole class complained throughout! I did not choose to take her, she became our teach. afterwords.I wish my original teach. would have taught us. SRSLY,dont pick her!

Worst experience ever! I have never given a professor a bad raing till now, but this class was insane. I highly recommend getting another professor. This professor didn't help us or try to work out the problems with in the class. Many failed due to this and other got unexpecting grades due to problems we couldn't fix!

I was taking 18 credit hours when I took her class. Honestly, I spent a lot of time to do the assignments, but I did OK in the class. Find you a good partner for working on the assignments and study on ur own. You will do fine in this class. Listen when she talks will help you to know what will be on the test, especially the handouts

Ms. Smith is seriously fair. She gives student chances to get a higher grade on the tests. She has study guide for lecture and test.Biology is mostly memorization so READ the book. Quizzes and HW help you a lot for catching the material. It worked for me. She is strict on finishing quiz, hw on time, but will extend them if you have a good reason.

Most people failed for the midterm because they did not do their HW which is lab notebook. Everything she tested was from the material. A lot of memorization but I see it's just a new world I must know. Guys, be honest, you cant expect a high grade if you dont do your work!!!

Gives a lot of work for a 1 credit course (Biology Lab). She'd often get confused about when things were due. Lots of homework but even if you aced the homework and quizzes (which I did) the 3 exams were 60% of total grade so it really didn't matter in the end that I did so well on the homeworks.

Please read and take these post that these other students are posting. This teacher just may have ruined my college career. Seriously, I never worked so hard in a class, just for the outcome to me still failing it. I worked literally day and night to keep up with all the work she assigned. Trust when I say stay away. Lab-If you have to take the class and she is your only option. Stay out for the quarter, she turned a good two year stay into an unneccesary last quarter thorn. Instead of leaving GPC on a good note, she left a sour taste. Some of us work for a living and don't need busy work which is what it seems she gives out instead of to the point work!

Stay away from this woman! Gives useless amounts of work. Makes you learn countless images and then uses different ones for the tests if the image shows up on the tests. Unclear in instructions, counts off for minor things. Actually took off for mispelling for many students in the class only to find out that the words were spelled correctly.Beware!
