Fran Curcio is AMAZING! There are few professors like her anymore. She is a great teacher and gives super valuable assignments. Overall, she's very fair and you learn a LOT in her class. She is friendly and caring as well.

For this course, it was mostly discussion based. The work load was decent considering the fact that we had a week to finish homework. Just do your work, submit everything on time, and you will be fine. This class is fun. Participate as much as you can!

She hate ESL students. She easily fails them. Give too much work, I grew gray hair during her semester. They think that if you are a good writer then you are a good teacher.

Excellent, excellent professor. The best part about Dr. Curcio is that she will give you the confidence and the safe learning environment you need as a future educator. Highly recommend!!!

She is the best professor. I learned a lot of things from her. She is very dedicated and helpful. I took two classes with her. She gave me confidence. Of course she requires lot of hard work and passion about teaching in her classes. SHE IS BEST!!!!!!!

How much is your textbook and membership fee which only read an article for one time ($38), total $250 extra for the course, plus a lots unreasonable paper work, I wondered, this is how american kid in high school get damed, because they teacher learned from those prof, no wonder, no children left behind will never work out.

Wonderful and caring teacher! Please don't believe the bad things others may say - all she wants is for her students to be happy and successful teachers, and she will stop at nothing to see that happen. Take as many classes as you can with her - I loved every minute in her classroom, and I was grateful for her mentoring.

Thorough, businesslike, and a very decent person. However, far too much of her high workload is really aimed at hitting the morons in the class over the head with the principles of good teaching, again and again, until some subset of it all sinks in, and is not challenging or interesting.

Great proffessor, but be prepared to work. No free rides here. Teaching is hard, and she will make you understand this. She cares about her students, and wants them to succeed.
