Comment:

I took her in Summer Session 1 and it was one of the easiest classes I've taken. Class was made up of 3 Participation assignments, 3 Homework assignments, a 1 page paper, midterm, and final. She does get irritated when students ask questions, however if you ask her to repeat something or slow down during her lectures, she'll gladly do it.

Does problems on the chalkboard and is illegible, and if you can read it, her numbers never add up correctly, so it's confusing. Goes through PowerPoints at inconsistent speeds. Gets extremely upset if students take pictures during class. Doesn't post lecture slides. Homework and in-class assignments are loosely graded (solely for participation).

She reads exactly off of her notes and does not seem to know what she is talking about. She gets easily frustrated at the students and looks exasperated whenever questions are asked. AVOID THIS TEACHER.

I question why a Tier 1 school like UCI would ever hire an ignoramus like this to teach its students. The "Prof." reads straight off of her "notes" she cut and paste right off the internet, most likely from wiki, whilst she pretends to understand the material." Furious when students ask questions b/c she doesn't know the answer. Should be fired!!!!

She gets highly offended when someone points out that she has made a mistake. Her teaching methods are terrible. At first she wouldn't make use of slides for her lecture until the students complained. Her lecture itself is a babble, she goes off of tangents when she gets confused. She does the math incorrectly then blames something irrelevant.

Kind of mean. She gets angry when people ask her questions, or try to get things clarified. She can be nice too though, but she doesn't have a lot of patience. The class is not hard, and what you need to know is pretty clear. Didn't use the book a lot, but you need to go to class to get the notes. She's pretty funny, but the class can get boring.

my word she's awful. she's literally reads straight off of her notes. she doesn't use powerpoint and gets really frustrated when students ask her questions. has in class assignments about the things you JUST learned. then gets angry when students work together to figure things out. funny but AVOID

If we'd been tested about her colonoscopy or her grandaughter, we would have all aced the tests. Alas...too many tangents, no organization, and actually got frustrated and mad at students when they asked questions.
