Comment:

Very clear. Teaches well. Makes you understand things quite easily. Forces his opinion of evolution on everyone and makes you feel stupid if you don't believe it. My only complaint against him. Overall, a good prof.

Comment:

This is the best prof I've had in all of my years of university. He knows his stuff but he can actually TEACH it too, unlike many other profs. He does expect alot from you, and the exams can be tough, but not if you thoroughly prepare yourself. It is a 4th year course, so it's not a complete walk in the park, but I STRONGLY recommend the course.

Comment:

By far one of the most interesting profs I have ever had. He encourages class discussion and definitely likes you if you make good points in class. Lab isn't bad, just some memorization. Gary is extremely knowledgable in Ornithology and will help if you need it. Great class, I definitely recommend it.

Definitely the best prof in four years. extremely knowledgable in his subject and incorporates current studies and examples into the lecture in a way that makes the topic very clear. Demands that you know your stuff but extremely approachable and focused on making sure that the class understands the topic before moving on.

Comment:

Teaches challenging but interesting classes. Exams are hard (they cover plenty of material) but with prep you can expect a good mark-he will read all answers and the best answer for the question gets full marks and the rest are marked to that standard.
