Comment:

Dr. Hafer provides so much help with every single one of your papers. Scheduling office hours is super easy. He is very personable and very easy to talk to if there ever is something you need to discuss. Probably my favorite professor at Lycoming so far.

Comment:

Dr. Hafer is a great professor. His class is not that hard as long as you keep up with the B contract and read your HW. His teaching format works well and gives you the opportunity to make mistakes and learn in a positive way that won't impact your grade if you keep up with the B contract. I broke the contract but he worked with me and I passed

I've had Dr. Hafer for two courses and he has not disappointed me. His class is challenging because he is a professor that cares about your success and failures. He will be receptive to your questions as long as you communicate with him. He is one of my fav professors and I would recommend him if you work hard for it. Don't procrastinate.

he's the type of person you will either love or hate no in between. He is very organized and nice, but not a good professor. I everything I learned was from the book, not him. He is stubborn and even if you follow the B contract if he doesn't like your work you'll get lower than a B anyways.

This class is challenging but great. He actually helps you improve your writing by having you write an essay every week or so. You have a B contract that's is not that hard keeping up with as long as you try and show up for class. In the end your final grade is your portfolio. I would recommend this class. All you have to do is put effort. He cares

A lot of papers, but the writing was on whatever you wanted. He helped improve your writing by having you write a 4 page paper each week. At the end of the semester you have to make a portfolio of it all. GREAT PROF though!

Comment:

Great and amazing teacher. Truly experienced in his work and knows what he's talking about. Adds a certain liveliness to the room and is easy to learn and talk to. Teaching and grading style unique in some ways, but very effective. I would recommend him to anyone taking 106 (only because it's mandatory).

This class was a lot of work and was very difficult. However, I do not write well and his class helped a great deal. His one on one confrences are kind of rough he doesnt hold back in telling you how he feels. But is very effective.

Kind of reminds me of a gnome.... ANYWAY, I fretted English class before and during the first few weeks of this class. It was very difficult, but he actually TEACHES you. I learned so much about writing that I never even considered before. He's worth it.

Excellent teaching skills! He really drives into subjects hard and clear enough for all students to understand. Just show up to every class and do the work. If you do that, then you will be pleased with your results, even if you despise english!
