Comment:

He is a nice guy but can be annoying about work ethic and cellphones. The only problem I had was that he teaches different problems than he assigns on the test so I had to teach myself a lot of the time. I wouldn't recommend unless you are going to study accounting everyday after class.

Comment:

Singh was one of the sweetest professors I ever had. There isn't any hw you just have to study outside of class (his recommendation as hw) and study for the tests. If you show up to class and pay attention studying before the test will get you an easy A. He's super funny and accessible whenever.

Makes you feel like there's something wrong with you for not understanding accounting. I was told he was great some I took him at 7 A.M.! Not worth it. He also claims phones give him headaches and he can't seem them. Kind of annoying

He is super into accounting but also understands most of us aren't accounting majors so he tries to make it easier. Three tests and a final exam. Gives homework & doesn't check it but the homework is the test with different numbers so helps to do it. Will give extra credit if the class seems to be struggling. Overall a really great professor!

Honestly Singh is such a good guy. He really helped me with understanding concepts in accounting and really wants you to succeed. He's really funny too, which makes the otherwise dry subject super tolerable.

Definitely take him for Accounting 1007! Homework(not collected) and textbook are NECESSARY to pass. Lectures are very straight forward and easy to understand. 3 tests; 1 take home and gave extra credit. Tells you exactly what to study on tests. No surprises. *MAKE SURE YOU ARE YOU ON TOP OF THE HOMEWORK*

He is an extremely good prof He will go that extra mile to ensure that u understand the material The secret in passing his tests is this: when he is reviewing an example from the text boo, he says "this is test material" He means it Just make note of that in your text & refer back to all the "test materials" be4 tests and u will do well TAKE HIM!

He is phenomenal. He is passionate about accounting, but he knew that no one in the class was majoring in accounting and did everything to help as much as possible. It was definitely hard for me to understand right away, but thanks to him I got an A-. Definitely take him and don't miss a class or you will be lost!

Prof Singh is a great teacher. If you don't show up to class how else do you expect to learn and pass the class? Attendance is needed because what he teaches in class is EXACTLY the tests. H.W. is not collected but helps you with the material and of course the test. I took him on Sat mornings and it wasn't terrible even in the bitter cold!

do not take professor unless you want to fail, he is going to fail you if you are loss, he does nt give credit for trying, i am takin him fall 05 n his attitude is nonchalant, even if u go to tutoring he spends his time telling you, you do not understand but does nt get to the problem. Stay away take Forte instead, trust me i have to drop the class

Accounting is not an easy subject but this professor will do a lot to help students understand it. Cares about students very much. Explains material very clearly. If u pay attention, do your readings and homework carefully, u should do well on tests. He won't give anything that wasn't done in class.

Listen, the guy expects you to do some work. He's not gonna give you an easy A. However, Gerry Singh is the man. He does teach well and his tests are very easy if you study for them. If you study about 2 hours for each test (3) you should get an A
