Okay about pronouns. He doesn't really use pronouns to refer to me. I had an upperclassman tell me some horror stories but he seems to have gotten better. Okay about mental illnesses, he's understanding when you have to miss class cause of panic attacks and such. He gives really good feedback for my comics and allows you plenty of creativity.

Brilliant artist, really knows what he's talking about. Organized and good sense of humor. Exceedingly critical and very challenging, pushes you almost too far. Despite what he says, he grades on ability, and barely considers growth in grading. Expect to work 6 hours outside class per week, if not more. Very hard to pass, if you're not an artist.

he took up an entire class one day doing some strange performance art thing that no one understood and i still don't understand. he was intimidating and seemed to help you only if he liked you - and he didn't like me.

Very good. Won’t respect you automatically. Do the work and get good results and then he’ll respect you. Won’t give you the time of day if you aren’t doing the work. Mostly friendly and lots of good feedback. An amazing artist. Can paint and draw like most artists only dream of. Teaches what he knows.
