Lange does NOT know how to teach! He is very unclear with both lecture & quizzes/tests. On top of that, when you ask question & he "explains" & you still don't understand (probably won't) he talks to you like you're stupid. NOT recommended at all! Do whatever you can to get a different professor.

Seriously do not take this class with him. Pretty much the whole class gets 60% on tests and quizzes. he does drop the lowest quiz grade but it wont do much to your grade since they are onLY out of 25 points. He mumbles and i never know what information will be on the exams. I absolutely dreaded going to his class

Principles of Physical Science 103... He teaches the class as if it's a 300 level course. EXTREMELY hard to follow in class and his tests and quiz's, he includes questions for the sole purpose of tricking you for "understanding." Barely uses the text but gives homework from it. He does a HUGE curve, he curved my final grade by 2 full letters.

Nice guy, but horrible teacher. Median grade for the entire class on most tests is a D. He makes it way too difficult for a 100 level class and he doesn't explain things clearly. Loud mumbler so he's tough to understand sometimes. Would not recommend him to anyone.

if you have no interest in this class do not take it! Lange is extremely boring, and overall not a good teacher. Our class average on the quizzes was usually around a 60%. Right before the final he said "I know you guys didn't really learn this stuff but I'm going to test you on it anyway." and laughed at our class.

This class is hard, just because its Physics. But the prof does his best for you to get the big picture of whats going on. Hes a nice guy and what he says in class is on the test, so going to class will help a lot. Just write down everything he says. He will help you if you need it, he understands that not everyone gets physics and curves alot.

This class was very difficult and if you want to get a good grade you are going to have to study hard. He drops one of the four quiz's but they don't make the majority of your grade. He curves by a full letter grade so instead of getting a B- as my final grade I received an A-.

OMG hahaha.. whoever said this guy is helpful is majorly wrong.. hah he laughs when the class does bad and thinks it's quite funny when the whole class fails. He mumbles a lot too. I went to every single class and took excellent notes, though I NEVER got above a 65 on any of his quizzes. .. you decide .. i wouldn't though ..

He's a nice guy, but the tests are really hard. doesn't state the information clearly, and expects you to understand what he's talking about. it's easier to teach yourself with the book, but a lot of what he says in class is on the test. he curves everything tremendously. i failed every test and got a B in the class. do the homework and project.

A great professor for this topic. If you're not interested in this class you're not going to do too well. He's very helpful, but only if you're looking for help. I approached him occasionally after class and he helped me tremendously. I recommend this professor if you're looking for a challenging course

Worse class ever and worst professor ever, tests are almost impossible. He has to curve so much because if he didn't, noone would really pass. I would only recommend this class if your trying to lower your gpa.

I saw all his crappy ratings and thought maybe people were just lazy. But no. He is the most terrible professor I've ever experienced. I knew everything in the book for the one test and I still got a crappy grade, his questions are ridiculous. And he doesn't help with anything whatsoever.

he doesn't always explain things well. his tests are tough, but he grades 110 out of 100, so you do a little better, also he curves like crazy. the D/F line was somewhere in the 40s! you could get an A with an 87. boring, but not impossible.

Class was very hard, ended up dropping after he offered no help when I asked for it. Very vague, assigns hw that he only goes over if asked too but he doesnt give the answer to the question. Rarely writes notes on board and is just not clear. Quizzes tend to be trick questions. Dont recommend this course to anyone without an understanding of physic
