Honestly the most easiest class Ive ever taken! Take good notes, I recommend writing down everything he says and color code and label down the subjects so it is easy to find during the midterm and final. The book was only used for homework problems, I never read a page because Noonan taught everything well! Never miss class!

If you plan on taking STAT200! Go for Professor Noonan! He is a great person who lecture and teaches hard with a lot of information but gives a easy A if you attend class and complete his mini homework sheets. His midterm and final are all open notes. You will not fail at all if you take good notes and uses on your test! Remember take good notes!!!

I caution you to only take this class if you have thick skin. He is often hostile to students who ask questions. He wants his students to succeed; however he has a funny way of showing it.

I will give credit where credit is due. Heinz is an AMAZING teacher, he could quite literally teach statistics to a rock. Take notes on everything on the board, midterm and final worth 90% of the grade. That being said, I found that often times he came off very condescending and made it a point to flex his knowledge on us. However, a solid teacher.

Funny and really cares about his students success. Doesn't hand out A's. Take notes on EVERYTHING on the board. Take Midterm seriously, a large potion of final grade, allows you to make test corrections only on midterm for partial credit. Rest of your grade is final and HW & Quizzes make up a small but important percentage as well. Take his class!

Weekly quizzes And assignments are not to bad. Youll need to cover the material again and take good notes as he lectures rather quickly and his handwriting is a hard to interpret. Overall hes a good teacher. I would take him again.

All you have to do to get an A is attend every class so you can take good notes to get perfect scores on your open-note midterm and final. Get 100% on all the homework and quizzes but a C on the midterm or final and you will NOT get an A. Hes funny and does great lectures but not good one on one. Kinda irritable when asked understandable questions

If you are worried AT ALL about statistics. TAKE IT FROM HEINZ NOONAN. If you put in an honest effort he won't let you fail. He does not hand out "A's" but he is a very merciful grader. His lectures make a very daunting subject as simple as possible. DO NOT miss any lectures. Take good notes and practice the problems using his method. It pays off!

I had Professor Noonan at Wayland Baptist University for a financial management course. He always shared information not only relevant to the class, but to personal financial planning as well.

Great Professor. Take his course. I drove to Eagle River for it. Take very good notes, and for that attend all classes. You will need your notes at exams, as he offers open books/notes exams. He is very respecful and polite. Replies to every question and goes back and explains the problem as many times as it takes for us to get it. And he is funny.

Professor Noonan takes the time to make sure that his students are understanding and will go out of his way to help his students pass his class. He can go kind of fast when he's going through problems, but will go back if needed and will clarify. He was always a phone call away if you needed help and was available before class for help.

Noonan is amazing. Drive out to Eagle River if you must take this class, because he is worth it. He makes statistics so easy to understand, and if you don't, he makes sure you will. It's clear he cares about his students and his work while making sure you pass the class.

Loved this teacher. He reminds of Christopher Walken in a lot of respects. I would take any class given by him again. He made the material easier to understand. Way easier than our text book did. He is also an understanding professor.

There is no one in this world worse at math than I. Part of the reason I chose the major I did was of minimum math. I was incredibly nervous going into this class but it was GREAT. Prof Noonan is one of the best profs I've ever had. He wants you to succeed and is so helpful. Everything made sense and if it doesn't, he'll help you. 12/10 TAKE HIM

Heinz is refreshingly direct. He teaches you how to apply statistics to real life situations and does not try to bog you down with the most complicated and irrelevant methods. Attendance is not counted, but is mandatory in my book because you will have a hard time catching up. Each class is packed with good info. Wish he taught all subjects!

By far the best class I have ever taken in my life. I wish every professor was like him. He is very straight forward to the point and lets you know exactly what you need to know for the midterm and final. I can't imagine taking this class with anyone else because the course material is a heavy load. Well worth the drive to Eagle River.

Heinz is really awesome - open-minded, blunt and funny. I am not bad at math, and without putting a lot of work got a very high A. He explains everything very well, and even though he doesn't care if you attend lectures, I feel that if you skip smth, you will pull your hair out later trying to solve problems using the book. I highly recommend him!

Noonan definitely works hard to help students "get it." However, if you take STATS 252 during the summer, you will pull your hair out. He moves on way too quickly, the information is dense and you need time to get understand it. You wont get that time. The midterm and final are ridiculous. 3+ hrs needed and then, you still may not finish on time

I'm horrible with books and math but this teacher was amazing to me. He writes everything out in simple steps that made sense to my mind. If he taught all stat classes I'd change my major and have a passion for the field. Lovded this teacher! If you have ADD , as Ic and need someone who just spells out what you need to know, he's the best!
