I thoroughly enjoyed Professor Moulton's class. There was a fair amount of reading, but it was interesting, and his lectures were very interesting as well. I looked forward to watching them. The writing assignments were very easy. Overall I learned a lot and highly recommend him!

He was a great professor, but you definitely need to go to class to really understand what's going on and be successful in the class. I took a one day a week course, and it is really hard to sit through 3 hours of lecture. There's only 3 essays. Relatively easy, but there is not a lot of grades, so make sure you do everything!

I loved the class I took with Professor Moulton! I've never been a fan of Greek/Roman lit but I now understand it/actually really like it. He assigns a lot of work up front/then tapers it down towards the end. Pay attention to the lectures! One discussion/one 500 word paper every week, but they're easy if the material's been read. Excellent class!

Doesn't just present facts, but offers insight into why and how things happened. Also provides a more rounded approach by not simply focusing on politics, but offering a glimpse into the lives and thinking of everyday people. He will take his time out to answer any question you may have even if it is something not specifically on the test.

Great Online Class. Prof Moultan is clear and concise with his expectations. He assigns large reading in the beginning then tapers it off at the end, which was great for the winter Holidays! He has 3-5 video lectures each week which gives interpretation and clarity to the assigned reading. Discussions twice week. Writing assignment once week.

One of the best professors I've had at ASU. The class is fascinating, the assignments are challenging but not unreasonable, and the lectures and reading selections are great! He deepened my passion for the subject. I would take another class in a heartbeat.

I absolutely loved the online class with him. I rarely feel comfortable to simply ask a question in curiosity in online classes, but I could with him. He was passionate about the subject matter, funny, and left incredibly good feedback. Would completely take a class from him again!

This is one of the best teachers I have had at ASU. He loves what he does and the subject that he teaches and it comes across in the class. The assignments make sense and he gives feedback quickly. As long as you read and do the work you will do good in the class. I actually took two of his classes in the same semester and loved both of them.

Moulton lectures but he makes them enjoyable. He's entertaining and relates what we read to modern culture. There were two papers and a final. He explains exactly what he expects and is easy to get a hold of if you have any questions!

I had Ian for a British lit. survey class and for a Renaissance lit. class. He was the best professor I have ever had. Ever. He can make literature come to life; he can make anything interesting or funny; he is fair, helpful, and I learned more in his class than in my other lit. classes combined.
