Yeah, he isn't the most interesting professor and he repeats a lot in his lectures, but if you actually listen to him occasionally, you realize he's a great marketing mind. His exam curves are stupid good, 15-30 points almost every time. Study and give the exam your best shot and you will end up doing way better than you thought.

Comment:

He isn't a great professor at all. If you want an easy A or B but not really learn much, you should take him. What I learned in the class is what I read in the book. You don't have to go to class and you will pass. He curves test about 50%. You will also learn many ways on how to use the word "consequently" because he uses it every other sentence.

Comment:

Lectures are interesting and really helps marketing majors understand the thinking behind the concept. Other people complain that tests are long and difficult, but as long as you study the powerpoints that he provides to you prior to the exam, you will do well enough. plus he CURVES like no other professor, bumps your exam up a whole letter grade!

boring lectures. I skipped most of them, read the book before the test and I got out with an A and a B in his class. He curves the test grades A LOT!

Another one of those professors just getting by with little involvement. Lectures and exams are loosely tied together. He sends out PP a week before exams, study that and you are ok. Pop quizzes at end of class (one night a week class). Typically never given back to back classes (aka you can leave at the mid point if a quiz was given prev. wk.

class is borig. assignments are easy and basically free points. test are over alot of material you will think has never been mentioned but there will be a curve of almost 20 percent. i liked this teacher

He is very pretencious and is always attempting to make himself seem smarter than you are. When you are called out, no matter how reasonable your answer is, he makes it seem ridiculous and states the "proper marketing answer." Very unhelpful and doesn't care about the students.

Horrible teacher. Mandatory attendance as usual for a teacher that has to force students to attend his class. Boring, irrelevant lectures. You will learn nothing from this class. He just wants to impress you with how many useful world facts he knows.

Dr. Khera doesn't care about the students. Makes you feel stupid if you aske questions. Oh, and by the way, he knows everything. Yeah right! The tests are still so hard, study the book or you will be out of luck! Project in this class is hard to understand and has to be turned in as a power point presentation. I'd rather do a paper!

Not clear on the project. He takes points off for things that are NOT EVEN ON THE SYLLABUS. He is not interested in helping you learn, and if you ask for help then he will answer your questions in a quick, unhelpful way so that you will go away. I learned nothing from his lectures. Everything I learned was from the book. IF POSSIBLE, AVOID!!!!

Khera's class is one of the most boring that I've had to endure. No one would come to class if there wasn't an assignment due every class session. His tests are out of control hard, but he does curve them. He also has a tendency to make you feel stupid if he asks you a question in class and you answer wrong.

This prof will bore you to tears. Tests are very hard, all over book material. Class attendance and participation are required. Project is difficult, but do-able. Talks so much that he gets behind and then punishes students trying to play catch up.
