If you are willing to put in work for your grade, then take this class. I enjoyed the class very much, he's wise as well as handsome! Professor Como is very helpful and reasonable, a tough grader on the assignments and gives homework every week (which are not hard @ all)!

loved the class and loved the professor!!!! Professor Como is truly the best you could ask for! At first he can seem a bit intimidating, but if you stick it out you'll get to see that he is one of the best. He is a hard grader when it comes to the essay assignments, but all you have to do is give it your best..... he notices when you're trying!

Professor Como is truly inspirational. I looked forward to this class week after week and he make his lectures so interesting that it is difficult for one to not pay attention. I felt his passion for the subject matter and teaching in general made this class enjoyable .

You can tell Prof. Como loves what he does. He's very interesting and you won't be bored in class. Keep your syllabus on you because you definitely need to refer back to it every week for all reading assignments (which are long). Participation is important. Do NOT take this class if you are a working student.

Dr. Como is an absolutely amazing lecturer! You will never be bored in his class; he makes the most mundane topics come to life! Not to mention, he has a witty sense of humor that keeps you alert. If you are actually interested in LEARNING.. this class will be quite enjoyable. Dont't forget to participate - He loves a great discussion!

This man changed my life. He is truly the BEST professor I've ever had. His intelligence/wit is beyond comparison. Never really cared much about CLDV. But when I got out of this class, my view on life changed. If you're afraid of a challenge, do not take this class. Because you will question everything you once knew. I'm forever grateful.

I really Like him, he is a really nice person, and knows the subject very well. i took speech for granted at first, but i realized that it was not an easy class. i missed most lectures and did not follow up with the Podcast, but if you can know the basic lessons of his class-stories and the appendixes, than you will be fine.

Although I learned a lot from his class I did feel that he grades hard and unfairly. He makes you feel very uncomfortable when your doing your presentation. Hes constantly scribbling notes on his notpade. He critiques very harsh.

I took Como's class during the summer & he seems to be helpful when he lectures. However, when it comes 2 performances in speeches, he's a hard grader & gets a good kick out of commenting/embarrassing u on how u did on your speeches in front of the class. Speech doesn't sound like a stressful class 2 ppl but Como def. makes it so 4 his students!
