If you want to learn some real skills and and do some honest to god learning Jamie is your girl. This was the most fun class I have ever taken and boy did it take a lot of work. Like get up off your butt and go out into the world work. But it is probably the best class I have taken in my entire undergraduate career. God bless, and teach me again!!

Jamie is one of the best professors I've ever had at NYU. There was a lot of instruction but at the same time also a lot of very thought-provoking, valuable discussions. Everything we read or talk about is so relevant. Luckily the class as a whole was great. I am looking forward to taking another one of her classes in my last semester here.

This will be one of the most valuable courses you will ever take for your future - career wise and personally. Jamie is the most intelligent professor I have ever had. We gained practical skills with HTML5, jQuery, and Adobe Software (dreamweaver, photoshop, audition, premiere pro) while simultaneously gaining insight to the evils of media.

I regret withdrawing from her class. She gives a lot of work (reading and writing) but you will def learn something from this woman. One of the best professors I have ever had in Poly. If you want an easy A, do not take her, if you want to learn some good stuff, and have a good conversation in class, take her!

be prepared to do a lot of reading and writing. very relevant and interesting assignments. one of the most knowledgable, hard working and fun professors at poly. actually, a model of what a professor should be like. i would recommend her classes to anyone who goes to college to learn. gives good grades to anyone who does all the assignments.

If you want to get an A in her class, it's yours, just do everything on time, she isn't greedy. However, most of the works in her class are so overcomplicated that it's not fun.

Very good humanities professor, makes you read a lot as well as makes you participate, even if you've never participated in class discussion before. However, A- is not the highest grade there is.
