She is very nice and helpful. Always smiling, her tastes in novels can be a little depressing. She grades her essays pretty hard but she helps you become a better writer. I have taken her courses every chance I've had! She is great. Highly recommend her!

Dr.Collins is always walking into class with a big smile on her face and she sets the mood for the class. She laughs and have geninue, open class discussion and conversation. The class does require you to read the material before class but other than that easy as cake.

Janelle was hard.You have to attend class and read the material; take notes to make an A.This was not a blow off class.She expects her students to learn the material and prove it to her. Not a tough grader on exams but they are extremely long so make sure you know your material.You can make an A with a lot of effort.Does not tell u what is on exam.

Dr. Collins is very sweet and helpful. She uses several books during the semester. The readings are interesting and easy to comprehend. If she feels the material is hard she spends more time with it. She will do anything she can to help her students succeed in her classes. She is very knowledgable and makes Lit II interesting. I enjoyed her class.

She's strict on attendance, but very nice. She makes the material interesting. Lots of in class discussion and quizzes. Some are group quizzes, which really help your grade. If you do the reading and come to class, you'll do fine. She likes to show documentaries that clarify the readings. Uses several different textbooks.

Dr. Collins is a very nice lady, but she does not teach. The responsibility of actually conducting the class is that of the grad students. She makes us write questions and divide into groups. So the class is essentually teaching ourselves. Take this class if you want an easy A, but not if you want to actually learn something from this professor.

Dr. Collins is AMAZING! The material she chose was interesting and I actually WANTED to go to class! Tests are easy if you have read the material. Sweetest woman ever, and you can tell she really knows what she's talking about. TAKE HER IF YOU HAVE THE CHANCE!

Absolutely wonderful! I have her for World Literature I, and I actually WANT to go to class. I've never dreaded the class and I always had fun. There's a lot of out of class reading, but if you do all your reading, you'll get an A. Her grades are quizzes, short, EASY essays, two take home tests, and two in-class tests, which are all VERY easy.

Dr. Collins is THE BOMB! She's a really great teacher and she's so helpful. Lots of assignments for lots of grades so you shouldn't have a hard time getting a good grade. Take like a quiz a week and a couple writing assignments a week, but you can do them really quickly and make good grades on all of them. Make sure you go to class though.

little house on the prarie? i'll assure any reader that dr. collins is far from naive. she's incredibly knowledgable about mankind, and is overall a wonderful teacher. but be prepared for lots of reading.
