Jason Bass is the BEST math instructor Ive ever had! AMAZING! OrganIzed, easy to understand, available for help,& cares about students. Gives out pre printed notes- I wasn't so stressed out trying to get it all down that I could relax & learn what we were doIng. I now love math-Thx to Mr Bass .Take him for every class u can. I did! trig, cal 1,2&3

very good teacher. He knows his math and you can tell he loves what he does. Doing homework is a must if you want to pass.I was scared of trigonometry,but he was very helpful. Received a B in his class

Had him in Trig got A+, Worked very hard in Calc 1, we got into some disagreements over process. I was short 8 points (not 8%) of getting an A. He was a fabulous Trig teacher, I had points over top A, First B ever was in his Calc class over 8 points. REALLY STUNK. Different teacher from Trig to Calc.

Best math teacher I've had in a long time. I took his class during the summer. He was very hands on with lots of examples that were fairly easy to understand. I hate math classes but I actually enjoyed this one. I wish he taught Stats.

Comment:

I took Mr. Bass for a College Algebra class in the summer for 4 weeks. He was wonderful! He understood that everyone is not at the same skill level, and was willing to work with you whether you're new to algebra or experienced. Overall he is very understanding and willing to help you if you needed it. i definitely recommend him!

In the "grand scheme of things", Mr. Bass was a great professor. He can grasp "the bigger picture" and "punch out" the lessons quickly. Took him for trig in the summer. If you don't plan to show up every day, don't bother with a summer class.

I took Cal I online from Mr. Bass. He came highly recommended. However, his expertise didn't translate to a great online experience. His provided notes were great, and helped a good deal; but I feel that I ended up teaching myself off his notes and khan academy. Email responses were hit or miss. The one time I met with him, I found him personable.

He is an awesome teacher I hadn't had much algebra before his class since high school but I love math so I was able to get by pretty easy. Homework is not for points but to help you on the tests. Lowest grade on a test for me was a 78

If you're having problems with math do not take Mr. Bass. He teach entirely too fast and talks too much about stuff that is not related to college algebra. He is very helpful just couldn't follow his teaching techniques.

BUY BOOK, BUT NOT THE MANUAL-HE GIVES THAT TO U! XTREMLY HELPFUL. GOES FAST BUT HAS A WAY TO MAKE U UNDERSTAND. ONLY GRADES 4 TEST AND FINAL, BUT WILL DROP 1 TEST TO REPLACE FINAL'S SCORE. DO HW! Goes a little bit fast but will go back over it if you ask. Starts class on time, didn't cancel class once ts semester. Let's class out early most days. Talks a lot about stuff unrelated to Algebra but he's nice. Gives great study guides. You will get out of this class what you put into it!

Mr. Bass is an excellent and very funny teacher. I got an A in the class because I 1. payed attention and 2. did my homework. The people that were forced to do their work neither payed attention nor did their homework. Just some food for thought. I loved him!

I had Mr Bass for College Algebra and he was a great professor. He makes things so easy to understand and he will help you in anyway possible. Homework is optional, but it is a must that you do it if you want to understand it. However, he does not check it or take it up. I would recommend Mr. Bass to anyone!!

Great instructor. Will help if you ask. Will go the extra mile, but as a student, you must do your part, too. Loved his class, that I decided to take him specifically for trig. He and his wife - good people! DO YOUR HOMEWORK though
