Comment:

Socially awkward, but still kind of lovable. Calc 3 isn't an easy class, but he tries his best to simplify. A lot of it will be self-study, but he teaches. I recommend taking the every day class. Put a lot of work into the problem sets, and the tests will come easy.

Comment:

Dr. Gregg is a great teacher. He really wants students to learn and his office hours are always open. Your grade is basically based on 3-4 problem sets (big group project type assignments) and the exams. Attendance isn't mandatory, but it helps, just make sure you do the problem sets and study for the exams, which are heavy based on his lecture

Professor Gregg was a great professor. Everything he taught was clear and he was more than willing to help outside of class. I took MA164 and MA261 with him. He makes you understand the material. Pretty lenient grader. You have to put some work into his problem sets. As long as you go to his class, you can understand what is going on

He's a really nice guy. He's very willing to meet with you and help outside of class. If you attend class and do the homework, you can get an A. I had him for calc 2. Tests are fair. He allowed a page of notes for them.

He let the students teach at times and it got a little confusing with ten diff. way to do a problem. he is a nice guy though and pretty chill. He is understanding if you have to turn a paper in late. Sometimes the hw is a bit too much and has nothing to do with the lesson in class. It is hard and especially the problem sets. It was a struggle.

I thoroughly enjoyed having Dr. Gregg as a professor. He's nice, humble, and great at teaching. His class can be time consuming and a lot of hard work, but that can be Mathematics in general. If I ever get to take a class with him again, I will.

Professor Gregg is one of my favorite teachers at PUC, he is clear and thorough with all material, and his tests/grading is fair. He really cares about his students, and wants everyone to succeed. I highly recommend him.

Jeff is really an awesome person. I got into a little of trouble near the end of his class (my fault for not taking it seriously) and he let me know exactly what i needed to do to pass the course. He won't do it for you but he will do everything he can to provide you exactly what you need to succeed.
