I took this class online & it was a pretty easy going class! I didnt feel the need to use the book although I had it just in case. All assignments/projects were doable & actually pretty fun to do(if youre into child development or the teaching field). She responds quick emails if you ever have any questions too!

Comment:

Her syllabus is clear and you won't find anything too hard about her assignments or exams. I really enjoyed the class because we actually did interact with children from different age groups. She is also passionate about her work and has lots of experiences, so her examples are easy to understand. The book was only used to cite the essay.

She is One Of A Kind! If you already don't, she will leave you loving the field. Her class provides learning through hands on experiences. It feels like your a kid again! Class consists of Portfolio: 5 Simple Book Reviews, Weekly crafts/experiments, 2 activity plans (provides lots of help), and Group presentation (super fun/easy). Just do your part

Montgomery is such a caring and sweet professor! She kept the lectures and assignments interesting. Not much class work or exams so be sure to do all it because missing one assignment can mess up your whole grade. She has a lot of experience in the field and it shows!

Jen is amazing. She really knows how to connect with her students, and prove that she is there to help. While she takes her job seriously, she knows how to make the best of it by creating a fun learning environment. She's a must take if in the CD field at ElCo.

I love Mrs. Montgomery! She teaches at a pace that is natural, it's not too fast for you to get lost in, and also not too slow that you die of boredom and fall asleep. She gives easy exams, few extra credit assignments, and easy writing assignments. She genuinely wants her students to succeed and it's not hard to do. I would take her again!

One of the best Child Development professors! I love Mrs. Montgomery! She's so awesome. She makes 3hr classes go by quickly. Her work is easy. If you don't want to buy the book, you can always use the library's or the teacher resource center since you'll only use it at the beginning of the semester. I would take her again in a heartbeat.

Jennifer Montgomery is such a sweet, and wonderful ladyteacher. She is there for you and she is a very understanding and kind teacher. I would def. recommend her and I would take her for all of my CDEV classes.

Professor Montgomery is a great child development professor at El Camino College! She never fails to give examples that support theories in child development and of upcoming projects. You will have at least one assignment that is in a group. There are only two tests (she provides study guides for them). Extra credit is also given. Book is required!

I took Jennifer's class at the UCLA Extension site and she was great! Her class was hands on & informative. She provides amazing examples, pictures & videos of things that she has learned on the field. She truly is inspiring and real about children education and where it stands. I enjoyed her class and would not hesitate to take it again.

The most reasonable, normal class/ teacher on campus. She teaches you the mateial, makes it interesting, and gives you good details and tips on how to work with children and families. You have to do your work and listen in class to pass, but she tops the list on best professors on campus.

she never responds to my e-mails and her class was very boring. she is easy grader because she is lazy. I used like her class but not anymore. She has no passion and she always looks tired.
