Dr. Skinner was another of those very "hard" PC professors that, if you just listened to him, would teach you more than you ever imagined. I did not perform well in his class at first, and he called me out on it -- he knew I was slacking and could do better. And you know what? I did! New PC students are really missing a treasure now that he's gone.

He has a very hard grading standard and it can be difficult to see what he wants on papers or tests. He is a good professor but he almost killed my love for literature

While he was not always appreciated in the department, this prof is probably the most interested in enrighing the PC experience for the students I am hoping that he will come back and teach some courses so that more students will have the opportunity.
