Comment:

As a person, Ms Smith is alright. A bit sarcastic, but I think positively of her. As a teacher though, her teaching style doesn't work well with me. I prefer to take extensive and continuous notes, but she doesn't like you taking notes while she's talking. This class confused me a bit, I'd take a different teacher next time if I need to.

Great teacher, easy A. Homework is not required, you only get 2 points added at the end of the term for completing all homework. She gives great reviews prior to the test, i just practiced the review sheet and scored all 100's on the tests. Will take again!!!

Easy tests. Very helpful and nice. She really does want to help you understand and does a good job of it. Not a lot of homework and she makes sure to give a full class period for reviewing before a test.

Comment:

Professor Smith is a very helpful professor. Explains any problems that her students may have. Lots of homework but it helped with test. Exemption is available with a 90% or better. She also drops the lowest test grade.

Mrs. Smith is a really good teacher. I can tell she really does care, but let me say this. She can be really impatient at times. You will feel swamped with homework. Here's the kicker, if you turn in all homework she adds 2% to your overall grade. She also drops the lowest test grade and if you have above a 90% NO FINAL! I would recommend her!!

If you have a hard time in math, DON'T take Mrs. Smith. Put it this way, 6 people in my class failed her class and were on their 2nd and 3rd tries with her, and still weren't getting it. I passed with an A in int. Alg and dropped this class with an F! She's a nice lady, her teaching style is awful.

Mrs. Smith is very nice and has no problem answering questions. She does NOT like for you to take notes while she is talking but gives you plenty of time to write them down after she is done talking. Skips over simple steps and so you can get confused trying to follow. Class is WAY tougher than intermediate but not because of the teacher.

I enjoy math, and her class was very easy. She writes all notes on the board, and is very clear how to do things. The only test I did poorly on was because I missed two days and had no notes, and did not ask for help. If you have an A and all your work in, you are exempt from the exam! Her college class is MUCH easier than in high school, trust me.

Horrible teacher!! When you ask questions, she says "you should have already learned this!" Your grade is composed of only test grades. She does not curve. She does provide reviews, however, the tests are usually totally different. I got a A in Intermediate Algebra, but barely passed this class.

I encourage people not to take her class. She talks down student when questions are asked in class. She doesn't response to emails if you miss a class or need to make arrangements. She doesn't explain things well and you basically have to teach yourself.

Her class is very easy. Homework is based on completion, and you're exempt from the final if you have an A and all your homework. For me, tests were easy. Much easier than the tests given in her high school classes. She is very understanding, and will help you if you don't understand.

I am pretty good in math so I didnt have a difficult time in the class. Her teaching methods were not that great/skipped a lot of steps. Test reviews were not very good, usually totally different questions on the test itself. Talked down to students, very condescending at times. would not recommend to students that dont understand math.

Great teacher and person. She explains things very well and will go over it if you need it clarified. She also has NO final if you score a 90% or above in her class (easy to do if you do the homework and ask questions)

I'm not a math person, so I shouldnt have been taking a fast track math class, but she assumes the student knows certain things without explaning what they should know. Lot of Homework, lots of studying, have to have TI83or84 calculator. Had to withdrawl after two class sessions. Went to fast for me.
