Joanna is very personable, though unclear as to her expectations. She indeed does speak at the speed of light for 3 hours straight. Very intelligent and critical, though she might tear you up and then give you an A. Some love her, some hate her.

She does not set her expectations clearly for the course in the syllabus. She expects you to understand what do to with out explaining what she really wants. She is not good with emailing students back. She actually has been one of the worst professors I have had because of these issues.

a great professor. she speaks incredibly fast (she takes one breath at the beginning of the class and let's it out an hour and 20 minutes later). i would definitely take another class with her.
