I did well in his class, but ultimately learned nothing. His lessons were very repetitive despite new topics. It wasn't an uncommon thought that he sometimes he went out of his way to make students uncomfortable. Be prepared to get randomly called on!

Overall, a good professor. He lectures and talks gets a lot of topic using real life examples which is good. He never assigned homework and we only had 2 exams and the final. Like he would keep restating in class his exams are just what he covered in class , so attendance is a MUST. The only bad thing he had is that he will sometimes shout you out.

Capela is awesome! His class is very easy as long as you take good notes. He tries very hard to keep us interested, and explains the material very nicely. Everything is easy to understand, and i enjoy his class very much!

Took him for thesis. Thought it was going to be hard but it ended up being enjoyable class. If you go to extra help meetings with him he really helps out. He'll give you a format and if you follow that you'll be fine with the paper. He is definitely an odd professor though.

Professor Capela is a very personable teacher who seems to care about whether of not his students are understanding the material. Although he does go through lessons at a fast pace, he tries to relate lessons to real life. He always made sure to stay after class if there were any questions from his students. Taking thorough notes is important.

Prof. Capela has a great deal of information to convey which he does in a clear and interesting fashion...great "real-world" approach to teaching and provides many useful handouts. I'd recommend him...it helps if you're really into the subject!

probably the worst online teacher I've ever had. His tests made no sense nor did his response to questions. And it took two weeks to get a response. I felt my money was completly wasted taking this course.

Capela = awesome...he's such a personable guy who really gets into the class and likes to have fun teaching. its great the way he makes sure to learn everybody's name and takes breaks during the class to do things like talk about food, sports, or even to answer his cell phone

Should have taken the class on campus instead of online. Took weeks to return test grades. Accepted assignments a week after class ended, delaying everyone else's grades. Fair grader, but that's as much as I can say for him.
