Comment:

He will talk about how religion is a product of human ignorance, and immediately after that complain about how he doesn't like how Christians force their beliefs on others. Seems kind of contradictory, especially discussing theology in an undergraduate class. Easy class, though he's confusing (hence the book.

Dr. Kimmons is okay, but he is not the greatest teacher. His class isn't particularly hard but all of the tests are from the lectures and even things you would never imagine to be important are. Some questions will have multiple right answers so you have to remember what he emphasized more. He is much easier than other bio professors on campus.

Mr.Kimmons seems like a very nice guy, but he is not made to be a teacher. All tests are based on the notes you take in class. There is nothing online, and he doesn't even use a computer in class. His lectures were scatered. If you need to actually learn Biology do not take this class. He did not cover any important material.

Don't buy the book because you won't use it once. The tests are directly from the notes. His notes are scattered, but write down everything he says. The tests aren't difficult as long as you listen in class. You can only miss 3 classes. He drops the lowest test grade. There are 2 easy assignments.

The book is a waste of money. All test questions are taken from the notes. Unfortunately his lectures are very scattered and hard to keep up with. The information is not very in depth and the tests are very easy. He is a bit insane and will often tell corny jokes, talk about aliens, and tell irrelevant stories in class. Be sure to take good Notes.

easy CLASS. Do NOT need book,The exams come straight from notes. very funny in a laugh at sort of way. He definately likes to try and make you laugh. prepare yourself for na easy a as long as you show up for class and take notes of everything he writes down!

If you do not go to class you WILL fail. He gives you page numbers to go to the book but if you do not understand, the book will provide no reinforcement. If you fall behind, you stay behind. I am not a good notetaker and I fall asleep easy. If either of those describe you, DO NOT take this class. He walks in, speaks for 50 minutes and walks out.

Good teacher. notes are VERY disorganized. Tests are STRAIGHT from his notes. questions come from small details, so write everything down. DONT USE THE BOOK! dont buy it. Tests are tricky, but Bs are easy to get. He's VERY nice and funny. Interesting!

Dr. Kimmons is a funny guy! If you are not a biology major and need an easy "A" or "B", take him. His tests are much easier and his lectures are, at times, entertaining. Don't waste your money on a book, his test questions come straight from the notes. Study, and you'll do just fine.

He looks like papa smurf in human form. Very cheesy but you can tell he loves biology. Get ready for awful jokes and lots of pictures on your notes. Good teacher if you go to class and take notes. Tests come straight from the notes. I never opened my book once.

Everyone seems to like him but I say this man is a fool. His class is easy, and I hear people say he makes biology interesting, but as a bio major who loves biology I hate listening to him teach like we're still in middle school. I roll my eyes everyday. I cannot take this man seriously.

Such a quirky, cute, older man. I enjoyed going to class just to hear some of the things he would think up and to see some of his drawings. He's quite nit-picky about what's on his exams though. Make sure to write down almost EVERYTHING he says. He likes to ask questions about things you wouldn't think weren't that important.

This man drives me crazy. He likes to draw aliens on the board, and he skips around in his lecture. He gets random questions from newspaper articles, so if you miss class that sucks for you! He oversimplifies things and it's annoying... bottom line: way easy, but lectures suck to sit through

This dude is absolutely awesome. It's obvious that he loves bio and nature and he'll always make you crack up because he's so quirky and he knows it. Attend EVERY DAY to get the notes and don't buy the book... Study your notes and memorize #s and facts and you'll come out with an A on all the exams. Easy format that students should love!!!

I don't know why everyone is saying he is so easy. I have a B in the class but the average for the tests is always around a high 60. Everything comes from the notes, and if you write down everything he says and basically memorize it, you will do well. Sometimes there are questions that you don't remember talking about in class, but overall not bad.
