If you have the chance to take his class, do it! He's super funny, and makes it as easy as possible to pass the class. Most of the work that you do outside of class can be found online, but you still learn a lot during his lectures.

Honestly its a easy A if you try. He is so hilarious and caring. Makes it as easy as possible to get an A. Best Psy101 professor at ASU, trust me I had friends in the other psy classes and they wished they took him. No final, 5 exams, gives study guides to exam. Lowest exam score of the first 4 gets doped. Good amount of extra credit.

Taking this class was almost too easy. The only assignments were tests, and all the answers could easily be found online. I did absolutely no reading and still got an A. The only problem is I didnt learn a single thing about psychology.

I took his psy 101 class online over summer and it was so easy. Just weekly quizzes on the online textbook. All the answers can be found in the book or quizlet. If you have a chance to take psyc with him online do it!!

Just do assignments online every Friday and youll pass. Only thing that sucks is that theyre due Friday by 8:00 PM, not midnight, so i missed it the first time and you cant do it anymore passed the due date. They are worth a lot of points. Tests are all online & answers can be looked up. At the end, he let us do any missed HW! (idk if he will 4 U)

Dr. Nanez is an awesomely laid back professor! You have to buy an access code for Revel, so his PSY 101 class is basically online. You don't have to go to class, but sometimes he gives extra credit. The assignments are due every Friday night, you just have to read and take mini quizzes. He gives you the weekend to take the exams online. Take him!!!

He is such a great and genuine professor, he always knows how to make the lesson relateable and interesting. He does go off topic but that's my favorite part of his class because he's funny. He is a very respected person and has good intentions for everyone's grades. It's also good to show up because he sometimes gives your extra credit!

Never takes attendance. Assignments are due every Friday on Revel which are really easy and the tests are also really easy, all online. He also gives out study guides. Sucks that the class is M,W,F and 50 minutes each, makes you not want to show up for that little if it's your only class that day but it's an enjoyable class. Sometimes gives 2 EC ?s

Dr. Nanez is an awesome professor, super funny, and definitely engaging. His lectures are not boring. You are only graded by 5 exams, which are all take home tests. Definitely will pass. He knows what he's talking about. Goes off topic a bit too much though.

Great professor! His tests are straightforward and are extremely similar to the study guides. He puts his power points online so it's not a big deal if you miss class. I probably went to only 10 lectures total and I received 300/300 points (4 exams, lowest score of the first 3 is dropped).

Dr. Nanez was always willing to help people pass. with that being said, a few people did fail; however they are to blame as he practically gave us the test with the study guides. He tries to make the material relateable and understandable. I definitely recommend him as a professor

Very interesting class! As for Dr. Nanez, he is boring at times but is very helpful! The first test was difficult, but later on provided very helpful study guides. Never opened the book, rarely studied. Oh, and he drops your lowest test score to help you out. All in all, great class.

Dr. Nanez is hysterical and knows how to maintain humor while staying in touch with course content. I just wish he taught every course at ASU! Many extra credit opportunities; just show up to class and listen...they ARE on the tests. Read the textbook, copy the slides, show up, and you will get an A.
