I'm planning to become a social studies teacher and the man just goes on and on about how he loves science and math. It's a little annoying because I'm pretty sure I was put in the wrong class. If you are a sec ed social studies major take dr. walsh-coates instead. She'll actually help you.

Dr. Elias was one of my favorite professors. This was the second graduate course that I had with him before I graduated. I had him as an undergraduate as well. He is knowledgeable in his subject and does a good job at making the content interesting. The presentations reinforced those issues that we discussed in class. Take him if you can.

Had him twice now, and all I can say is waste of time. It takes him several weeks to cover topics that could be covered in <1hour. He is a nice guy and a very easy A, but I got little from the class. DON'T BUY THE BOOKS-NO TESTS/TO PROJECTS-A FOR NOTHING!!
