Mrs. Becker was a good teacher. Homework nazi, yes, but you def learn ALOT through her class. She teaches you how to use a graphing calculator to make things at least 100x's easier. Just alot of hours doing her work, but its worth it.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND HER,EVER, TO ANYONE! She assigns hours of work that she will NEVER review with you, and she gets upset when you ask questions. You will only learn in this class through group study sessions with your peers. Even if you are good in math, you will struggle through her class. Choose a different professor if you want to learn.

She's not a horrible teacher. Her class is just hard, I finished with an A, but my A was earned. I studied for this class and it was my hardest class this semester. If you take her be prepared. It is a college class and is no joke.

Worst teach I have ever had. She has a loud nasal voice and is extremely awkward. Assigns 4-8 hours of homework per week, and doesn't teach. She never went over homework before tests, so e had no idea if we were doing the math right. Do not take her class.

Run. Away. Now. While. You. Can. Easy class but I ended up helping my classmates (which I hate) because they're slow in math. Take my advise, if you're slow in math, drop/withdraw now because you will get lost in the sea of mathematics.

Cons: Moves through material VERY fast. Sometimes doesn't explain something in great detail. Pros: She is extremely knowledgeable about what she is teaching. If you do not understand something, she will go out of her way to help you, but you have to want help. My brother had her, and he got help at a Wal-mart from her.

Worst teacher ever, she does not teach.. She assigns the work you go home and attempt to do it. You honestly have to teach yourself, and with math thats HARD. I spent hours and hours each week to fail this class, she does not like questions and will belittle you. Do yourself a favor and Drive to Keystone and take Dr.Dale.. Shes AWESOME!!

This is perhaps the worst teacher I have ever had. She doesn't teach, her laugh is extremely irritating and frequent, and she expects everyone to devote all of their attention to that course.

this teacher is ridiculous. DO NOT TAKE HER! she assigns waaaaay to much work and acts like her class is the only one you have, and on top of that she doesnt teach at all. she gives you the assignment and then goes over THE NEXT CLASS. shes horrible and will embarrass you. she's just not a good teacher at all. find a different career lady.

She is by far the worst teacher I have ever had. She explains the material poorly, AFTER you've been expected to do work related to it. The amount of homework is insane and does not prepare you for the exams or the common final. BEWARE!

She is a hard professor, but her classes are not impossible to pass. You have to be willing to work. She does NOT hand out grades. She is a very kind lady and wants to help you and make sure you learn the material, but you MUST do your part. If you're not going to work, don't take it. If you want a REAL class, take it.

Nice lady but should have found a different career. She is just not a good teacher. You must teach yourself by doing the massive amounts of homework. The homework and My Math Lab work is not at all related to the quizzes and tests! You definitely don't get out of it what you put into it. Take a different teacher!!!

Horrible Professor, she gives you the work expects you to do it before she ever teaches it.. She never lectures, just pushes reading questions.. DO NOT take her, I understand that she is the only one that teaches in Starke bc thats why I took her, Drive to Gainesville... TRUST ME!!!!

The only complaint I have is that you had to teach yourself a lot. She assigns reading q's and then teaches the material the next class. But she is very helpful if you're ever stuck. DON'T be late for class. She hates that. I got a B+, but I had to work hard. You get out what you put in.

She is fast paced and writes a lot of stuff on the board. When she laughs, she sticks her tongue out. She is willing to answer questions and gives cool programs on your calculator. She hates it when you come late to class and will pick on you for the rest of class.

By far the hardest class I had ever taken. She doesn't round grades up at all so if you have a 69.99 you have a 69.99 whether its on an assignment quiz test or your class grade you fail. I do not recommend her! Attendance is not mandatory but if you don't come you will fail. She doesn't explain things very well but is quick to give plenty of work!

Comment:

Ms. Becker is tough and there is way too much work. I have kept up in class and do 98% of the work on time, and I am overwhelmed. I would advise you to stay away from her. The online course is easy.
