Comment:
Dr. Graber's Adolescent Psychology class was a course that led me to decide to do Developmental Psychology on a PhD level. Not only were her lecture relevant, they were engaging with application examples and in-class discussion, but she was very helpful when it came to making your own research poster.

I really enjoyed taking Adolescent Psychology with her. She could be a bit monotone, but she was always kind and you could tell she enjoyed the subject she was teaching. The tests were doable, but you have to study. If you take good notes and read the book you should be fine. I was able to get an A with medium effort. Go to class to pass.

They're are 4 exams, 5 discussion boards, a research paper and a group project. Her tests are hard as she is very specific about what she wants; I recommend visiting her during office hours to go over things, it really helps. The research paper and group project are a bit of a headache as she doesn't give clear details about what she wants.

She created DEP3053 online but doesn't always teach it. Its full of work, reading, projects, essays, lots of due dates, a harsh grading scale. Useless busy work all because Fasig's online section from before was too easy. Quiz questions are too detailed, your projects are graded by other students, instructions are unclear. Formatting matters a lot

Dr, Graber is nice, but the class is not that hard. Just tedious. You must have a lot of time to keep up with the class if you want an A. The class needs a word requirement with the amount of "projects" (3) that are due along with every weeks discussion board. Just have time on your hands if you want to do well in the class.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!! It is really unorganized, the teacher and the TA's do not communicate their messages clearly and when you ask a question they tell you to look it up or see a previous response. Too much work for an online class. Papers, weekly quizzes, weekly discussions, 3 Group projects, 1 paper, and you have to review 20 projects.

Unless you don't work and have a keen interest in developmental psychology, reconsider taking this course. It is extremely time consuming with "discussion boards" (essays) due each week at 7pm. It is very easy to let due dates and deadlines slip right past you!! I've never really struggled in school, but this course is kicking my butt.

A lot of work for an online class but if you can keep organized, relatively easy. Work includes papers, weekly quizzes and discussion boards, and group projects. You will want to buy the actual textbook - the e-book is not very helpful when taking quizzes.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. you would think it would be easy online, but it was almost as much work as my organic chemistry class. there are quizzes and small essays due every week on top of the fact that randomly there is a big essay due.

Her online class is not easy but its not difficult. The hardest part is keeping organized and making sure you dont overlook due dates. There is a quiz and a discussion post due every week (and they arent easy) and there are also papers and group projects. I would recommend buying the tangible textbook instead of the Ebook for the quizzes

Not a slack class. Something is due every week. Quizzes and discussion boards. and there are projects. Its easy if you keep up with it. Lots to do, take a while to get the hang of the web site. But overall wasnt tooo bad

I expected a little more out of this class, but it turned out to be okay in the end. There are a lot of assignments, so go to every lecture you can. The exams are short answer and essay, but it wasn't too bad....and there was a group project towards the end.

Great professor! Goes out of her way to make sure your grade counts, gives study guides, makes printable notes, follows the textbook (but not too much), asks for class input and is ALWAYS laughing and smiling. The class is a little slow, but she knows that and tries to keep everyone involved. She loves what she does and helps to make sure you do

You have to do a lot of studying in the class...but if you do the work you will get an A. She seems nice, and is helpful. I would recommend the class.
