Comment:

Nice lady, but disappointing teacher. I don't really feel like I learned anything. She came to class unprepared and flustered a lot. As someone else commented, she DID repeatedly tell us that teaching wasn't her "real job". She didn't grade or return our papers for weeks either.

Comment:

I took her during the summer semester and she didn't have anything planned for any of the classes. She just made something up every night. She told us that teaching wasn't her 'real job' every class and was late everyday. She took weeks to grade our papers and always had something snotty and rude to say about mine. I didn't learn a thing.

great teacher, take her if you can. Not extremely challenging, but it is a 101 level English class. Not a whole lot of studying needed. Read the readings and pay attention and an A or B is highly attainable. Some English teachers can be a pain, Professor Nagy is certainly not one of them.

She didnt seem very prepared for my class. She also taught durring the day at Keithe so maybe thats why. she had not finished some of our last rough drafts by the time the semester was done. we did not get to write our final papers and get our over all grades for the papers. This made me upset. Her joural is easy.I just made stuff up and got an A

She is a very good teacher. She gives you a lot of ideas for the papers that are required. She does not give unnecessary work/homework. We've only had a few quizes and she always tells you way in advance when papers are due. She is very flexible with the due dates. (the class decides together)

She is way awesome at critiquing. Sometimes the class was a little boring, but overall...Nagy is definitely a good instructor. I learned a great deal from taking her class and I would definitely take her again. :)
