Karla made coming to class, fun! She was always joyous and imaginative. (it was creative writing, so this was welcomed). Our lectures were never boring. Never expect to be given a boring writing prompt in this class. She made me realize my passion for writing. I would recommend taking all of the writing classes she teaches!

I had her for med term. She is such an amazing teacher. She does anything she can to help you learn the material. She is funny and her classes were always interesting. There was a lot of memorization but the class overall was fairly easy. She offers extra credit throughout the course.

Took med terms with her. She will do anything and everything possible to help you. She helped me in every way possible when I dealt with a death in the family and had to travel out of the country. You cant ask for a pre compassionate and respected professor who genuinely cares.

Karla is an absolutely wonderful, engaging, compassionate instructor with an innate ability to make you listen to every word because you want to learn what she has to share. I rank her with Mr. Keating in "Dead Poets'Society". She is exceptionally gifted & if you have the chance to take her class, do it! You will be looking for more when it's over.
