A class with Kathi is like having your grandmother as a professor. She is very sweet and is willing to help students in any way she can. I think she is a bit naive, though because students take advantage of our easiness all of the time. She is rarely constructive and unless you are self-motivated you will not learn much from her courses.

Terrible teacher, has nothing constructive to say, extremely unhelpful and frustrating when it comes to critiques. Also very unorganized, gave us a syllabus with half the dates as TBA.

Very soft on students. Thinks that everything is wonderful and beautiful - which can be nice to hear - but isn't constructive when you really want to learn how to design. She is a nice person, seems very kind and warm hearted - but I would enjoy a teacher who actually teaches.
