Comment:

Dr. Allison was a pretty decent professor. She posted all the notes on d2l, but I'd still wouldn't skip class due to some graded in class assignments. Tests were taken in class and could be a bit confusing at times. Only allows up to 10 extra credit points so use them wisely. She hates phones and will call you out if she sees you with one in class.

Comment:

I really loved Dr. Allison, but I still get Bs on her quizzes. All of the information on exams and quizzes come right from her powerpoint that she puts on D2L, except you have to remember the little details and numbers. Attendance is not mandatory, but sometimes quizzes are easier than make ups and their are many easy participation points.

Dr. Allison is an amazing woman but this class is just too much work for an online class. Exams are rough and you always have some assignment due. A bunch of busy work. Love her to death, but would NEVER take her again. Even though I will most likely receive an A.

Comment:

Dr. Allison is pretty nice. She posts the Powerpoints on D2L and that's where you take most of the quizzes. She doesn't take attendance but sometimes gives in class assignments. She's good at reminding you about due dates too. I personally never used the book, if you just follow instructions on assignments you should do pretty well.

Get out while you can, if your in a class with her already I pray for you. Way to tough of a grader with irrelevant lectures. I only go once a week or so and I have a B because her quizzes are common sense. Don't bother getting the book. I didn't open it once.

Dr. Allison is a very nice professor. Although, she HAS ALOT OF WORK!! I took her for Foundations of Health & i was writting a paper every week, and not to mention taking a quiz every week! For a 1/2 semester course she has waaay to much work! At Least for me someone with a Science Major, don't recommend!

allison is a nice lady but her class is awful. she grades right to the book and you cant argue your point or you are wrong. its her way or the highway on any projects, papers, or even homework. wont give you an inch on your grade either. if you have a 69(D) youre not gonna get the 70(C) good luck with her. her tests are hard too

I've had Dr. Allison for about 4-5 classes. I wasn't really looking to my first class with her because I had not heard good things. But i was more than pleasantly surprised. She does expect a lot out of everyone, so grades may suffer, but only because of your own lack of work and participation. She is a little slow with grading....so beware.
