I took his online class. I emailed the professor throughout the semester and did't give me much help, at all. Also the material we go over in the homework covers two out of the four sections on the exams. . Also he used Wileyplus. It glitched on me during a test and gave me a zero. Professor didn't care and I had to stick w/ the zero.

Comment:

This was a tough class and not for the type of students who do the bare minimum. I worked really hard and was able to receive an A. It's possible, so don't let the negative reviewers get to you if you're willing to do the work. Spend time reading the book! The homework doesn't cover everything on the test, but most of it is on there.

I took him online. He uses the WileyPlus system which I'm not a fan of. The tests were difficult because some of the material he tests you on were not in the homework. The material builds on itself so do not fall behind or skip any chapters. Grade heavily depends on test scores so I do not recommend him if you can't test well. Tests are 2 hrs.

i took him for 3 courses. he is really good. u might find he is difficult at first because he is really strict on being ontime. when you are along with him, his stragety is super easy. no missing class, and plus paying attention to his lectures, an easy A will be.

I took his online class and received an A. My complaint is that he uses the wileyplus system, which gives you 4 hw per assignments/chapter. The test consists of 2 assignments that were on the homework and then 2 assignments you have never seen before. So you are expected to learn on the test. Use google to find solutions. they are out there.

You have to attend class on time. Not a second late. You have to bring your book into class everyday. Turn in your hw on time. He is very punctual and strict. He gives great examples and goes over material many times. Test problems are just like lecture examples. He tells you what will be on each test. He explains very well. He is a very wise man.

This instructor was rude when I would go up to him for help. his response was always that it was in the book. even when someone needs more clarity he was useless. I dropped his class and took the same with another and received an B in the class so it was not that the material was too difficult he was just horrible. he is probably better at doing.

HORRIBLE!!!! Ridiculously absurd. If you want to fail a class, then please be my guest and take this class! I just failed the first quiz and first test...why? Because the test was foreign. I spent my whole week studying for it, got all of the practice questions right and was ready to Ace that test! This teacher does not care!!!

Even if you pass this class you will leave learning nothing at all. He claims that everything is easy and oversimplifies it to the point that it is unrealistic. His examples are too simple so when you do a real problem that is actually hard you wont understand it. I clearly had a B in the class so I emailed him and never got a response.

I took the online course and I would not recommend it for someone that does not have experience in accounting or isn't very good at teaching themselves. I liked the book and the course structure but it is a class you definately are on your own with. MUST complete tests and homework on time, no breaks given at all.

Free at last, free at last, lord almighty... free at last. His teaching style conflicts with about 50% of the class. So half of the class understands, but the rest are lost. Too much off topic discussion and ridiculous clock watching not enough accounting. I don't know what Delta was thinking with this teacher. An A is virtually impossible.

He is a great professor. I have taken other accounting instructors before,but Dr. Couvillion knows a lot more then them.I love his class. His lecture was exactly what was on the tests! He really helps you to prepare for the business world.I highly recommend him to those who want to learning ACCOUNTING!

Where to start... Don't even attempt to take his class online, it's impossible! He uses a book that is confusing which strictly came out of his mouth. Doesn't allow late work and really doesn't communicate well with his students. If you want to take this class take it in class and invest in a tutor. The material is not easy. Good Luck

Comment:

Not everyone learns the same as others. This teacher can only truly teach some. Hes a nice enough guy but his teaching style leaves much to be desired. He doesn't go over homework or tests well. He talks sooo low it's crazy! Idk what it is about accounting profs but they assume the material is easy so they don't need to explain certain things.

I like the way he is teaching. I think that repetition of materials helps to understand course better. I would highly recommend this teacher if you really want to learn accounting.

The worst instructor ever. If you are 10 seconds late you are marked absent or if homework is 30 seconds late u will be lucky to even get half credit. the format matters more than content to him. Doesnt give partial credit on tests or homework, if one thing is wrong in a problem the whole question is a zero. Never taking him again
