I wouldn't recommend this professor to my worst enemy. Studied hours for all his exams. If you understand the material but are a poor test taker, DO NOT take this course. He offers no help, he YELLS at you in class and has zero patience for any of his students. Do NOT take this course you'll fail or drop the class.

His tests are EXTREMELY DIFFICULT! There's no multiple choice questions on these tests. If you're not good at math DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS! Trust me when I tell you, YOU WILL FAIL! You'll ask him for help and he'll tell you to study more or he'll tell you to get tutoring. Doesn't answer emails or phone calls. He's not much help AT ALL!

DON'T TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. YOU ARE SETTING YOUR SELF UP FOR FAILURE. I got A'S in all my other math classes. This guy jumps back and forward. You can;t ask questions. He starts the class in english ends it in french. He is just awful.

Please stay away from this teacher if you want to be successful because the way he speaks is very difficult to understand, English is super poor and his orientation towards the class material is out of scope, teaching methods are poor also, In general speaking is a waste of money and time, is easier to get a headache than learned math in his Clas

This guy is great. He gives a review for every exam. All of these comments are lazy students. I got frustrated when the students asked the same dumb questions over and over again. Learn so much from this guy.

I passed his class with an A. Finite is an extremely easy subject but he does not make it very easy. His accent is thick and he gets frustrated very easily. He does not go by his syllabus but is a very sweet guy and practically gives you the test questions as a "Review". So if you study, you'll for sure get an A

If you already know Calculus, you'll be fine. However if you enter this class without any knowledge of the subject you're going to struggle. His accent is extremely thick, he rushes through examples and gets flustered when you make him re-explain something. On the plus side he practically tells you the problems that are going to be on the test.

My problem, and other students often said the same: it was usually difficult to understand what he was saying. The instructor must take responsibility to speak clearly enough to be understood, especially when students so often ask him to repeat things. Otherwise the instructor was ok, but not excellent.

First day of class, I thought he was one of the coolest and nicest professors. But as the semester went on, he proved to be somewhat obnoxious and disrespectful at times. Doesnt respond to emails and when he does he is rude about it. His accent is EXTREMELY, extremely heavy. He does not have much control over his class. Not a great professor.

After my 2nd attempt taking Cal i ended up in his class. The first day i thought i was going to fail due to his strong accent but didnt. his teaching technique is great. He really cares for all of his students and hates the 1 that interrupts others. I wish i would of taken him earlier but i happy i did. Only cal class i passed the exams.

Professor Benterkia is a really nice guy and you can tell, but he's the worst teacher I have ever had in my life. I can't understand a word he says and he doesn't really help you understand a problem when you're confused. He cares about his students, but for someone who's not good at math like myself, I suggest choosing a different professor.

This professor really cares about the students, a little too much in fact. He explains the material very thoroughly and does a really good review before every exam. He will get a little worked up if you're not paying attention, and his accent is just a tad hard to understand at times, but that's definitely worth the easy A. Definitely take him!

It is hard to understand him at first but you get used to his accent. He gives reviews before the exams which are just like the exams. He lets you use a formula sheet for the exams. Easy A. Even if you don't understand anything he says you don't really need to, the textbook is very clear.

Hes very nice and wants you to pass the class. Has a bit of an accent but you get over it when you pay attention and get into the class. He's understanding if you can't take a test a long as you tell him before hand and hes funny too. If you really want to learn take him, if you want an easy grade then don't. You need to work in the class

Out of all my math instructors, he is the only one who actually goes through examples in the book. He is open to questions in class and kind of funny too. Even though homework and attendance are not mandatory, doing them is recommended as they help for the test. He also changes test dates mainly to help students prepare.

This guy is extremely impatient, very hard to understand, very unorganized, and I didn't learn much of anything from him. However, his tests are exactly like the reviews, same Problems even, and he is the easiest grader I've ever seen, half credit just to TRY a problem even if it's completely wrong, make something up. So because of that, not an impossible class to pass. if you have to take him bc there's no one else left, go to the reviews, and study those!
