Linda is an incredibly smart and helpful person.She gives fantastic advice on how to create good photographs. She leaves a lot of the decision making to the students but has always been there to help. If you don't care about the class, do not take it cause it's both time consuming and very costly. Linda's a great person and I've enjoyed evey minute

Linda definitely knows what she is talking about and is able to disect everyones work in some philisophical and intellectual way. She is an art professor you can learn from and take that learning with you for the rest of your life. Her only flaw is that she is not at all punctual, but most of the time is spent in the dark room and takin pics neways

Linda is amazing. She can find something spectacular in everyone's work. Of course she is critical, she's a photography teacher who wants to make you move to the next level. The class is costly, but if you're in love with photograhy it's a great experience.

this class is really expensive..i spent about $500+...so theres that. the teacher was helpful, but she can be really rude, esp. if you are on her bad side. i was taking 15 credit classes and this was by far my hardest, most time consuming class. so only take it if you really love it.

She was an excellent teacher. I am not sure why others thinks she is mean perhaps not completeing your work or paying attention in class would cause her to look poorly upon you. The class does require a lot of time outside of class but if you are truly dedicated to the class (and photography) you will enjoy every minute. I recommend her!!!

she is erratic, ignores photo1 & wastes class time...not only rude but does nothing to actually help students get anywhere with their work.if you try to follow your own artistic path she immediately forms a vendetta against you. what kind of artist refuses to show their work to anyone?she shouldnt teach and hates teaching.dont waste your time w/her

WONDERFUL TEACHER! she's very fun and helpfully critical. if you're not trying, it's obvious and she'll tell you exactly what she thinks. but she gives a lot of leeway and does appreciate obvious effort and interest in the class. DOES cost money though. i spend about $300 this semester on chemicals and paper. but it's SOOO much fun!

If you are not a slacker you will do well in this class. Every one's cool and we all hang out. Those who drop can't handle the work load or possibly the expenses.. which it can get costly. Excellent teacher if you do your part of the work if not the will call you on it. Very knowledgable.

She seemed nice at first, but she really wasn't. The photo 2 students are very rude. They think they are better than you are. they are Rollins College Rejects. The teacher did not care about the childish behavior from the photo 2 students. Dark Room hours were not for students who work full-time.

Yes, she is a little on the harder side. But her knowledge and expertise is very extensive. She gives wonderful insight on ones work, and truly helps to expand students horizons. Would recommend to any1 who is truly interested in photo.PS! CLASS COST$$$

Horrible Teacher. She is sooooo judgemental. Needs to leave her problems to herself. Grading is based on how much she likes you, not on your actual work! In the start she might seem nice but watch out HORRIBLE TEACHER!!!
