Her exams are set up in a way that the score of nth exam replaces the score (n-1)th exam. If you study 10 to 15 hours for an exam, you should be able to get an A pretty easily. Ace couple exams and you don't have to take the final.

Comment:

Professor Zinola is a great instructor. Not only were her lectures clear, but she also provides great tips for succeeding as an engineer (e.i. real-life scenarios in civil engineering). Although her lectures go by fast, she is always willing to go the extra mile for any student that wants to succeed.

Probably the toughest course you'll take in SWC. The will NOT curve and tends to throw curveballs in tests, since she puts in a test a variation of a problem that she never explained at all. Don't skip class, study all the homework and all class examples, after that just hope she didn't have a bad day while writing the test...
