Excellent teacher! The content of this class is hard core, but extremely relevant. She requires you to work hard and pushes you to expand your existing beliefs. You must attend every class and read everything assigned! If you do that, the writing is not hard to get done. She has high, but reasonable expectations.

Great professor. Social Justice in education is often a hot topic, but she taught it with grace and with openness. I felt I could say anything in her class and was glad to have the opportunity to take it.

So hard-core she'll make you feel like the worst teacher on earth. Extremely strong beliefs and ideals, no one can ever live up to them. Has high expecations. I DID learn a lot from the readings and writings required.
