Comment:

Mr. Holt is an odd man but all in all he class was pretty easy. He gives you a lab packet and does everything on the board for you and you are allowed to use that on your test. So coming to class is necessary. He leaves the class a lot to get his coffee and usually you get out of class early. He gets kind of confusing though. But he knows his stuff

He does not explain problems or expectations at all. You turn in your first homework with your first test, so if you didn't understand something but thought you did, you don't find out until you have a quarter of your grade back. He requires expensive textbooks in the syllabus that he does not use. He does not teach.

Professor Leo Holt is a wonderful teacher.He is easy to follow when writing on broad.He shows you step by step how to workout a problem & gives handouts with an easer way of doing the problem on them.You hand in homework when you hand in test which about 5to10 qeastions.I took his class for summer 1 session and pass with a B &I really suck at math.

His class was a piece of cake. You get handouts that are taken from the book so if I hadn't bought my book it would have been okay. You get to use your notes and the handouts on the tests and final.

You need to come to class everyday, ask questions if you don't understand what he is talking about let him know. He will try his best to help you. You must do your homework. Great teacher, a very unusual person but good.

On Mr. Holt's belalf, the subject matter was not as easy as I previously thought. He knows his math and enjoys it quite a bit more than the students (who, BTW wrongly thought it would be easier than College Algebra) You will not find a nicer man.
