One of the finest painting teachers that I have had the pleasure to learn from. Leslie has a great sense of humour and is a very genuine person, clear and direct, helpful, honest, Real. None of the teachers at Emily Carr measure anywhere close to Leslie. Life Changing.

Exellent teacher, collest sense of humor, strong personality. For "weak and shaky" students without "voice " her classes would be a sweaty experience.But if you "sleep" with art, she is a huge help to deliver an artist from you.

One of the BEST fine arts teachers. She is very helpful and approachable. She really knows what she is talking about and if confident in her teaching style. She marks fairly and will always explain herself if you ask her about them.

Leslie is FANTASTIC! she taught me so much about perspective, giving a personal flare to my art work and so is incredibly honest! if she doesnt like something, she will tell you, but not in an offensive way- tactful! she has inspired me to continue on in painting, and she is very personal! if you have the chance to take a class with her go for it!

Everybody loves her. If you love drawing and want to get better at it,take her. You will learn so much about seeing and drawing and pushing your boundaries to their creative exhaustion, then ably experiencing areas in drawing you never thought you would reach. She's the best kind of teacher.
