A bit difficult to understand due to her accent, but if you take the time to go through her slides and homework, the material there is sufficient. Exams are long with limited time, but she literally gives you the exact TYPE of questions that will be on the exam in her review sheets so you get some and you lose some. That's life. Just review well.

Fall 2019 will be her last semester. Her accent is very tough to get over, but the beginning concepts are simple math and not too hard. Make sure to get a good group for groupwork because she gives credit to those who participate. Will also know if you are not in class. When it comes to excel, good luck because it gets very tough to understand her.

The worst professor I have ever had. Her HEAVY accent makes it impossible to understand anything she says. Its nearly impossible to finish the tests on time. AVOID AT ALL COST.

Terrible, heavy accent, I cannot understand a word. Not sure how this Professor graduated college and was allowed to teach in college in the USA if she cannot pronounce 99% of the English vocabulary. What's the point of taking her class if you need to study all by yourself and with the help of tutors and classmates.

Accent will take some time to get used to. Prof goes through slides and then has students go up and solve the problems to teach the class. Most people didn't know what was going on but if you teach yourself it shouldn't be too bad. 3 exams and 1 group presentation. I had Chegg which helped a lot too.

this might as well be an online course because you basically teach yourself. Her accent is atrocious, impossible to understand her. Don't know how she thinks she can teach if she can't be understood. A very critical grader, exams take too long to complete in the amount of time you have. Avoid if at all possible.

Don't listen to any of the troll reviews about Lie-Fern Hsu. Her class is very difficult because you aren't able to understand what she is saying half the time due to her heavy accent. Avoid at all cost, but you most likely won't be able to because she's the only one that teaches this section. Goodluck! <3

She is the best professor at Baruch. Super smart and fully understands her subject. She has 3 exams which are almost exactly like her review sheets with different numbers, and she allows cheat sheets. It's almost impossible to fail her class with minimal effort.

There are 10 points curve at the end (based on class average). I got 77,78,80 for exams and ended up with B+. I never understood what she was saying in class but I studied by myself. In the exam, there are always things not covered in class. If possible, try to study more than lecture notes or slides.

Stay away from her, very tough class even though you are great in MGT. Her exams surprise you and she's a tough grader. Her accent is very harsh yet she talks fast. So you would have to learn the lecture by yourself and her accent at the same time.

Will legit go over examples without explaining them, will just do it and expect you to get it. Extremely heavy accent that will leave you wondering not comprehending anything. SO many of the students in this class teach themselves with the textbook. She speaks fast and when you ask her a question will look at you like you should of learned this.

3 midterms (No final), case studies, & HW galore. No easy button here. Grp case studies takes a lot of time so start early. Really good with email, so ask a lot of ques. Allows redos on case study ques if you ask. Practice the examples in & at the chapters . Tests are just like the HW & review probs. Keep up with HW and make sure you understand.

She is a nice lady but her lectures are overwhelming; she talks really fast with heavy accent and to understand her is nearly impossible. I wish i was able to understand her better; shegrades the exams strictly and curve? I don't know if she will curve at the end or not I hope she does :(

She may come off as cold but she really isn't. She is there to help if you don't understand something. She lets you present the HW at the beginning of each class which I did plenty of times. this really conquered my fear of public speaking. Tests are tough but she gives you partial credit. Attendance matters. Do the HW. Show effort.

Easy class if you are a self-taught person. You do not need to pay attention in class (which you will not understand anyway) Learn from slides and practice the reviews. All slackers should take her bc she will curve you to the moon but students who perform well in every exams, you get what you work for. You get it?

I must admit I had a genuine interest in attending this class. She comes off as cold but really isn't, she's a nice lady and will help you when you're in need. She makes yo present the HW problems at the beginning of each class. I myself presented almost every class during the latter days of the semester and she cruved my grade rather generously.

It's extremely hard to understand her, but she she knows her stuff. volunteer to do homework problems and study them because the test are pretty much the same. find a good group at the beginning of the class, case studies are done in groups.

She's extremely hard to understand. It's easier to teach yourself the material rather than try to understand her. She teaches slightly different versions than the textbook in some cases. She will let you fix problems on the case studies if you ask, and will respond quickly to emails which is good. Wouldn't really recommend her anyways.
