linda loves to share so you get to know lots about her life! shes a funny lady who makes you laugh and listen. one of the bestest professors at de anza ;) the writing techs she teaches have inspired and improved me alot as a writer! its definitely a class to learn!

Didn't really learn much from this class, just an average English teacher. If you are good at writing you get As and Bs, if you suck at writing you get As and Bs. She gives you better grades over the quarter to make it seem like you are improving, but in reality you are not so.

AHHH... I HAVE FINALLY SEEN THE LIGHT!! THANKS TO PROFESSOR SELINSKE!! SHE IS AN ASTOUNDING PROFESSOR. SHE IS TRULY PASSIONATE WITH EVERYTHING THAT SHE TEACHES. Linda is an awesome teacher! I also took her 1B course, which I found was very similar to her 1A, but with a little more in depth reading and writing. If you want a teacher who will teach you what it takes for college writing; take her! It's unfortunate that I do not see her on the list this year for EWRT 2; I'd take her in a heartbeat.

I took her class in the summer. At first I thought it was going to be difficult; however, I passed with an A! It was pretty intense since I did take it in summer, but it was great! The classroom envrionment she makes it to be, the way she is as a teacher and as a person, is AMAZING!! She puts alot of heart into her teaching!!! Highly recommended

Linda is one of the best English teacher in DeAnza! she is very nice and helpful. She also made the class very interesting. The readings are a lot but not hard. she might be a hard grader, but it is all good for you. she is prepare her students for the upper level.

Linda is one of the most sincere and greatest teachers of all time. I took her for the second quarter in a row this time, both A's. Class is always enjoyable and she personalizes the class to the students. A huge heart and full of knowledge. I would reccomend this teacher to anyone and I know they would feel the same. Best teacher ever. Classes are fun, never ever boring. Everything is clear. Discussions are open, every idea is heard and being treated with respect. Material is eye opening. Has a good heart. If you work with her you will also get a good grade. Still, you are expected to work, and follow instructions. Don't miss this one. She is unique.

She is a great teacher but i think she thinks everyone reads 50 books a year like herself. If you take her for ewrt2...be ready to read read read

she was so good that i actually enjoyed going to eng class. she really did care about her students and she helped me improve my writing from a D level to a B level. she kept class fun and interesting with her stories and her narrations. shes one of very few teachers that i kept in touch with even after class. she is a great teacher.
