Homework load might be a bit heavy with the discussion post, but they aren't that hard to do. The professor cares about her students and is always willing to help. Email and reach out to her if you need anything. You do have to read one book, but for us, it wasn't hard. I highly recommend taking her, it's a fun class and you learn lots about CSUN

Professor Riccomini is one of the best professors out there. She is so kind and understanding. She really loves what she does and is always willing to help her students out. As long as you do the work and give your best you'll definitely pass her class easily.

I just realized I never got to write a review for Prof. Riccomini, but it is never too late. Professor Riccomini is such a great professor. I would definitely recommend her. University 100 is a very informative class and it is very easy. Riccomini made U100 fun. Take her if you have the chance!

Professor Riccomini is the best for U100! She's so nice and clear from day one of what she expects from her students. She gives extra credit opportunities and encourages students to participate in class, "if not now, when?". In this class get ready to speak in front of your peers. I highly recommend this class to all freshmen at csun.

The professor is super nice and really tries her best to get involved with her students and guide them on their first year of university. She is a great professor however i would not recommend the course whatsoever because the material/advice you learn is mostly common sense. Very easy class to pass with a somewhat lenient attendance policy.

Prof. Riccomini is the nicest and most helpful professor ever! She is a great grader, and most of her assignments were easy. I took her Spring 2015 and still keep in touch with her as a former student and visit her from time to time. Even students that were lazy passed with C's. Take her! You won't regret it :)

She's a nice professor. Not in a "typical" way. She cares about you and genuinely wants her students to succeed. Super positive and supportive. If you don't get an A in UNIV 100, you're not doing the work. The easiest class ever to get an A. All you have to do is write weekly write ups, which don't take much time at all. She's great. :)

SHES AWESOME. Yes there are 3 essays&a big group project! but tbh its easy if you know how to decently write!& she is super laid back&you actually get to share your opinion! and write about things that are interesting! lecture time IS SO EASY and relaxed! i enjoyed going to class! shes funny too and SO SWEET! and REAL! TAKE HER!!!!!!!

Shes really annoying she treats her students like their still in high school she gets really upset if you come late or have to leave early. She assumes she knows what your life is like. 3 essays a couple quizes which are easy.She kinda plays favorites. The tutor is more helpful I didnt learn much bt the class is a pretty easy pass if yu do yur work

Prof. Riccomini was honestly my favorite teacher for my freshman year. In a way i feel like she got me through is so sweet and helpful and funny! You will have a good time in this class and it's not bad at all, if you just do the work you'll get an A, get to know her as well!

she's a great teacher and cool person, it just sucks that the class she teaches is honestly useless in every sense of the word. Do NOT bother taking UNIV100. It honestly has an absolute 0 purpose for anyone on any college campus, the work I am doing is for children in 5th grade.
