Comment:

Cancelled class a ton. Took attendance maybe 80% of the time. Really nice lady, kind of weird, but in a good way. Understanding of different student needs--allowed commuters to do a group project independently. Super strict about phones. Easy tests as long as you go to class and pay attention most of the time. Recommend buying the book.

I have taken her for a few other classes and she is wonderful. She knows that students have lives outside of her class. She is very understanding and always willing to help. Attendance is usually mandatory for her classes but I always enjoying going. She makes learning fun. She has to be one of my favorite Professors at KU

Literally the easiest teacher I have ever had. If you want an A take Weckerle, she is unorganized but who really cares about that when you get an A? Take her 10/10 times.

I was behind on credits so I took this class during the summer, it was worth it! Read the text book to get a easy A, and also do practices because it helps with quizzes. If you need a class to catch up, I definitely recommend taking this course!

Comment:

Very unorganized and confusing with directions for assignments. With almost every assignment everyone in the class had different things, because of this due dates were often pushed back for us to correctly do the assignment. Read the book there are d2l quizzes and it helps with understanding her lectures.

She's a little goofy, but extremely nice and accommodating. She cancels class a LOT! The only downsides are that she takes attendance and she can be a little unorganized with tests/assignments. Definitely take her. Easy A, tests are easy and she gives study guides!

Lisa Weckerle is a good teacher, but she's kinda unorganized when giving work. She's a very nice teacher, but she's really adamant about when she wants her work done, so, make sure you do your work time. Her tests are really easy, she gives you a study guide for each test, so if you study the study guide you'll pass the test.

Dr. Weckerle is very nice. This class could have been boring, but she made sure it wasn't. Also, she is very flexible. With all the snow days, she cut back on some of the assignments or had us participate in a discussion forum. I enjoyed her lectures.

this class was interesting and at times fun. But she totally makes up lessons and is not clear on anything. She is always sick or out. Big paper due at the end on a topic about gender. Nice lady and easy teacher, but how did she get her masters I don't know.

she's great. she's fun and quirky and isn't afraid to be silly in order to make example performances more interesting. if you're uncomfortable with acting in front of everyone, don't take the class. but she's a fantastic professor so take her for something else - i'm planning on it. this was my favorite class of college so far. loved her.

Having this class was wonderful! It was like having a theatre course outside of the theatre program. The course is completely performance based and the book is completely unnecessary. I plan on taking her again if I possibly can. She is a little unorganized, but she isn't too particular about deadlines because of it. Memorize your performance!

This teacher is very good as what she does, however, she is very inconsistent with grading performances. Don't EVER go first. people who go last get the best grades just out of pity. Worst of all,.. she's a complete dictator with no opinion except her own!
